She ignored my question about the eyes, because she doesn't know her eyes glow! Clearly, what happens is that  quarian eyes reflect back some light at a wavelength that humans can see, but quarians can't. 

"Glowing eyes? Huh?" 

Tali: "Right, Shepard. How did the Turian councelor say it? Ahh yes, "Tali'Zorah's glowing eyes", we have dismissed these claims?"
