I prefer to stay with the mindset that ME3 will end 70 years before any of this is a problem, and in my imaginary post ME3 land, Tali and Shep live long lives together, and live to both reach an old age

Meaning Shep and Tali will live happily together forever!

Something that supports Quarians not living past the 100s is that Tali doesn't appear to have any grandparents.

Though, I suspect if they had proper living conditions they'd reach the 100+ years like humans.

Seeing as Tali is our only real reference, and being an Admiral's daughter has made her *special* it is kind of hard to draw a conclusion.

Think of it this way.  Lets say A1 and A2 have a Child, B2,  B2 completes their pilgrimage and goes and lives on another ship.  B2 then marries B3, having C1.  C1 completes their pilgrimage and lives on ANOTHER ship.

So, A1 and A2 are technically C1's grandparents (half of them), but they are 2 ships away.  And seeing as a ship's crew seems to be the most important family bound, outside the nuclear family, and it is possible that Grandparents have little interaction with their grandchildren.

Not sure I like that.  Tali and Shep aren't going to have time to enjoy the galaxy they save during ME3.  That's what post ME3 is for.
