*Shepard's cabin prior to entering the Omega-4 relay*

Tali pounced on top of Shepard, pushing him into the soft matress excitedly. Their lips met, and Tali suddenly felt wildly self-conscious. She had never kissed anyone before in her life, and she was certain that Shepard likely had. What would he think? How would he feel? His lips felt  soft and warm as they slipped into her mouth one at a time as they slowly kissed. His thick stubble bristled against her soft skin, but she cherished the new sensation. Shepard's hand carressed her cheek, inciting a muffled moan to slip from her mouth.  She nervously drew herself back in embarassment. " Ummm ... how .... how was that?" She mumbled bashfully. "Was it ..... you know ...... alright?"
Shepard lay perfectly still for several moments, his eyelids closed, his lips still puckered slightly. His eyes opened, glazed peacefully. He noticed Tali staring at him curiously and he shook his head, drawing a quick breath. "I'm sorry ... what ... what did you say?" He whispered, dazed.
Tali grinned warmly.Tonight would be a night to remember ...

Nice. I liked it.

Mechanical parts in a body don't last as long as organic parts. Believe it or not, over the years, your body will break down metallic implants and what not. There's just all this constant stress that withers it away.

I suppose it's possible that within the ME universe his synthetic parts may give him longer life; that's generally the case in sci-fi. But realistically, I do believe what he went through would shorten his lifespan.

But they're still replacable. 

Maybe, maybe not. If they proprietary parts built specifically for him, there won't be replacements.

If there are replacements, then we have to assume these parts are available to the general public, and are already a factor in that "150" number.

If it was possible once to build such parts, it's possible again.
Shepard has many opportunities to become obscenely rich.  And, he has influence (more once he's saved the Galaxy).

Alright, I've got some time before I go to bed, tell me

It started when me and my friends went out camping
Well one day they decided to be total douches and played a juveneille joke on me when we were swimming in the lake (you can guess what they did) and after a few minutes of me trying to drown them this bear shows up at our camp (Hudson left the bacon sizzling too long, idiot<_<) and so we decided in a panic to run away and of course I had no time to put on some boxers at least. Well obviously now that was a stupid decision and the bear decided to chase me. For the love of me I will never figure out how the bear didn't get me but I sprinted for awhile until I came up upon the Ranger Station, of course I realized again that I was bare sh*t naked but since there was no way in hell I was going back to the camp I just decided to walk right on in and said "Hey chaps! As you can see I am dirty, wet and completely nude but however there is a rather grumpy bear with a sick sense of humour and I don't really feel like taking on a 400 pnd bear nude, so perhaps you can help me out here?"
And yes I just casually walked right on in and blurted that out, and as you can guess they just stared at me as though I was some sort of psycho understandably.
Well after around four-five minutes someone got it together and brought me a towel
The bear had left though and my friends never let me live that moment down and the Ranger station makes sure to keep an eye on me
Well that's how it went, and yes I know it honestly sounds made up but this really happened trust me

Besides, my stories are a lot more light-hearted and usually involve Tali and the gang doing average things.
