This is a pretty awesome poll, if I do say so myself:

http://social.biowar...067/polls/4774/

I'm pretty sure what most people here will vote for though.

I'm pretty sure the second one is a retarded question. I could have sworn Sovereign already told us this...and I'm pretty sure that ME2 gave another reason as well.

Alright new question:
Why did it seem so easy to take Tali's mask off? Shouldn't that thing be attached so that it never comes off without necessity? I would assume it would take at least some effort.

Possible that Tali prepared for the mask coming off. The quarians though do still seem like they would need to take the mask off on a daily basis. Besides; why make the mask so hard to remove?

This.  I mean, hello, it's not like she was headed up to Shep's cabin for a quiet chat.  Think of it as the quarian equivalent to wearing a bra that's easier to get off.

Despite being a placeholder and relatively undetailed, that depiction of her face is my favorite of all the ones I've seen. Something about it just conveys... what I imagine in Tali.

Like, the face is cute, but there's some seriousness, determination, and slight sadness in there.

I assume you mean the more human-esque version in ME2?  I found the ME1 placeholder rather... "shallow.  Shallow and Pedantic..."

My problem with the face is that it's too human. It looks more human than an asari and, if anything, I expect Tali looks more alien than Liara - not that Liara looks particularly weird or anything.

Well, we don't really see the mouth-downwards.

Just sayin'.

My apologies for caring too much.

Give Rune break. Has been on thread for long time. Deserves right to get emotional from time to time.

Well this would probably apply more to kal'reegar but: In combat, movements aren't exactly...smooth usually. They would need to secure it so that the mask would not come off from a nearby explosion, accidentaly bumping it, etc.

Have you ever worn a gasmask before? They don't come off easily, so I am sure that a mask such as the quarians use would not come off by simply jostling it.

I could lead a long and happy life without knowing why the Reapers do what they do.  It's enough to know that it needs to stop.

Unless, of course, that horrible "Reapers actually save the galaxy" theory is right, which I don't want it to be! :crying::crying:

Salvation through destruction laughable.

My rage will have the incandescence of a thousand suns if that idea turns out to be true.  The worst part is I can't shake the feeling that it is.

I tell myself:  no, they won't close down the whole setting like that, they still want to make money off it!  But it's cold comfort.

Actually yes I have, which is why I am confused as to why Tali's mask came off with a simple tug.

Never liked the pic, sorry.
1. Face is too boyish.
2. Skin is white.  (I prefer the purple or black concepts)
3. the portion where the nose reaches the browline looks... off.
4.  The proportions of her face to mask are way off.  Her mouth should be completely obscured, or else her mask would be far... ?deeper? then it needs to be.

Nobody's perfect, Miranda. I'm ok with any outcome Bioware does. Read the sig  :)

True, allows new life to develop, but since intend to destroy those as well in ten thousand years, doesn't save anything at all.
Therefore, am dismissing that theory!
