What gives you impression that there isn't? If you're talking about the bartender, she's basically just saying "no one remembers what the Quarians look like" figuratively.

Not just the bartender, although that's part of it.
I'm also going off of what that quarian girl in Illum was saying when she was repeating what her ex was saying to her, something along the lines of "'Oooh! I wonder what she looks like under her helmet'"

Now, I suppose that could be about her specifically, but I always got the impression that what quarians look like is this. . .big mystery now.
Or maybe I just think that because we don't know.
Not sure.

It's pretty much inconceivable that the extranet would not have it. The extranet has been around for thousands of years. The Quarians did not begin to live in suits until 300 years ago.

Actually, less than 300 years ago.  The descent into total immune-system-suckage was gradual, as they became accustomed to the nearly sterile enviroment of the fleet.

Yes. Practically suicide unless got two willing quarians and decontaminated environment.

Of course, the extranet doesn't work exactly like the internet. Bandwidth is actually pretty limited and it sounds like, in general, each planet has its own database that they update occasionally through interstellar transmissions. So I doubt there's anything like "space google."



That being said, I have wondered about the quarian thing. They were a Council associate like the volus and elcor centuries ago and, although their immune systems were weaker than those of other species, they didn't need the enviro suits. So it stands to reason that somebody, at some point, took pictures, and put them into record. In fact, it's likely several people, for no other reason than the reason anybody takes pictures of anybody.

You know, I used to argue for a more alien approach, but what little we can see of her face doesn't really support it.  And, honestly, the rest of her is pretty alien when you get down to it.  That's enough for me.

I generally dislike all of the fanart of Tali unmasked. I have no ideal look-- otherwise I would have sketched it myself-- so I would rather wait for Bioware to do the honors, as it should be.
