Am very disappointed, Alphyn. Very disappointed.

Most of us (hopefully) I think have "hair" pretty low on the list of priorites. We just want Tali in ME3 as a recruitable and LI and blah blah blah you know the rest.

That is actually the best arguement I have heard to support the quarians having hair. Not a solid arguement, but the best so far.sergio71785 wrote...
I'd much prefer Tali with hair, but no hair won't stop me from thinking she's totally awesome.
It's very likely Quarians have hair though. Hair is something that would help spread pollen around on Rannoch.

Scince people seem to agree there should be a choice in having her show you her face, think about this scenario.
---------------------
(Consider this entire scenaro un-spoiled for you, as you avoided all ME3 media before the game was released to not have any of the game spoiled. Goddamned trailers.
You have to make a choice.
Tali is wounded pretty bad during the final fight, she asks you to take off her mask.
If you disagree once, she starts to yell at you to take off her mask for a final kiss. (This would be a lure.)
If you say no a second time, you aren't rewarded with seeing her face, but she makes it back to the Normandy for medical treatment, and survives.
If you fall for the lure, and take off her mask. You are rewarded with seeing her face, but, the removing of her mask sealed her fate, and she dies.
(You can just re-load, but if this scene was unspoiled for you, you'd probably finish ME3 without her, not knowing of the outcome of the other option until you finished the game.)
... On second thought... if bioware did this, I'd be pretty pissed.

Besides, if not Fornax then likely elsewhere.
Maybe other places do stuff like that, though Fornax does appear to be a major publication, and they'd likely be under quite a bit of scrutiny if they didn't provide ideal conditions for all their models.
Fornax is human run too--you know those humans, they're masters at porn.
I'm positive they'd treat their quarian models well though.

I'm not sure that makes them likely to have hair. Either way, I read from somewhere that said that in Ascension or something it stated that Quarians evolved from a mammal similar to the Koala. I don't know if what I read was actually joking, but it's something to think about.sergio71785 wrote...

I presume you are talking about V For Vendetta? And the female lead is Natalie Portman, and she does look good with a shaved head.Collider wrote...
Like Buddha, I would not have a problem with it. First of all, I'd be happy with however Tali looks like (she's got lips, that's good) secondly, not having hair does not preclude her from being attractive. I don't really like the Asari, but they aren't really ugly or anything, despite not having hair. If you've watched the movie V, whoever the female lead is still looks gorgeous even with a shaved head.

You underestimate racism. It seems more than likely in my eyes. The galaxy mistreats quarians at every turn. Sexual exploitation doesn't seem like much of a stretch.

Yea, that's what I meant, forgot that it was the masked hero who was called V, not the movie. Yea, she looked good. So was just saying that having no hair doesn't mean a woman can't be attractive looking.Azint wrote...

Okay, so assuming that, for some reason, saving and re-loading was NOT possible, I would have her keep her mask on.
Like I said before, I really don't care if I ever see her face. In a way, I kinda don't want to.

know, I used to argue for a more alien approach, but what little we can
see of her face doesn't really support it. And, honestly, the rest of
her is pretty alien when you get down to it. That's enough for me.
do we from what we can see of her face? From the mask we can only infer
nose and two eyes. If you mean the concept art, that's concept art and
not very detailed. I just don't want them to be like the Asari. It's
perfectly possible for them to be more alien yet still attractive, if
that's what you care about.
there's no reason to be that way.
What we can see of her face is
generally humanoid, no less so than the asari in the facial region. The
smooth outline of her nose doesn't suggest anything radical like
scales. And then there's the description in ME Ascension.

Agree with Azint. I'd rather not even be able to see her face at all. They shouldn't treat her face as if it's something surprising for Shepard, he's already seen it. I want to see it either in the beginning or middle of the game, or end if I have to. But never if it means she has to die.Azint wrote...

It's not, most humans are racists, for them aliens are animals (just listen to Ash, Prestly and others), exploitation of quarians is something i think most humans will do.........and on second thought, let's just leave the humans to the reapers, do they really deserve to live ?
