Agreed, I like my custom face much better than the default for the most part. Sheploo isn't ugly, but looking at videos on the net of him he looks insane sometimes.

Why does everyone dig Earthborn so much? Colonist has such potential.

I like keeping my boots on familar ground.

I like the story arc:  kid from the gutter becomes war hero, saves galaxy.

Everyone loves a good rags to riches galactic hero story. :D

I never really got any creepy looks from my custom Shepard. His smile did look ridiculous at the end of ME1 though, it kind of ruined the moment

Do you mean the big cheesy grin that says "I just killed mecha-Cthulhu?"

Seeing Wrex and Tali so worried then relieved rekindled the moment.

Yes, I mean that one. If you played as the PC with the longish hair in KOTOR and had the Republic ending, it's a similarly ridiculous smile. The animation were wack, it did not look like a smile someone would make without trying to look funny.

It's not the stubble that makes him creepy...it's Sheploo's smile. In the Miranda romance Sheploo looks insane.

I had Garrus and Tali during that fight. I remember Tali giving that hopeless shake of the head when Anderson asks about Shepard. Man... That was rough to see.

I used the head that had a small goatee in KOTOR. It really didn't bother me though, great game.

Yea. KOTOR definitely had something that KOTOR TSL didn't. It's sad that TSL was never finished. Maybe one cannot really compare them in some aspects though...TSL was much much darker.

In my game it was Wrex who gave the shake of the head, Tali was the one who looked back at the debris mournfully. Then Shepard emerges from the wreck and they both gave each other that stoked look.

I... Don't know....

BLAME CANNED!

Bathroom Break

Tali: Shepard, how come your bathrooms aren't unisex?

Shepard: What do you mean, Tali?

Tali: Well, on the Flotilla, to save space all of our restrooms and showers are unisex. We're all a family after all, so..

Shepard: I wouldn't mind having a unisex shower on the Normandy. -chuckles- I'll rub your back and you rub mine?

Tali: -playfully hits Shepard- I wouldn't mind, Shepa--

Miranda: -Banging on the door to the woman's restroom-   GRUNT!

Shepard: Uhh... M..Miranda?

Miranda: Oh thank God, Shepard. Grunt locked himself in the Woman's restroom!

Shepard: Why.. doesn't he just use the Men's...?

Miranda: I don't know Shepard -- Something about the seats or something, I DON'T KNOW. I just have to go.. NOW! -bangs on the door- GRUNT!

Grunt: -from within- Go away!

Miranda: This is just redicul--  Shepard, stand back.  -uses her biotics to open the door, enters the bathroom and closes the door behind her, Shepard and Tali still outside.-

Tali: Is.. Grunt going to be okay?

Miranda: -from within- GRUNT! WILL YOU GET OUT OF THE R--       OH MY GOD! W-WH... WHAT ARE YOU DOING!

Grunt: -from within-   GAH! I-I TOLD YOU TO LEAVE ME ALONE!

Miranda: -from within- STOP! SERIOUSLY, RIGHT NOW! ST--  YOU'RE GETTING IT ALL OVER THE FLOOR GRUNT! WHAT THE HELL, IN THE WOMAN'S RESTROOM?! SERIOUSLY?!

Grunt: -from within-  I.. I CAN'T HELP IT! I.. I...

Miranda: -from within- I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT, CLEAN THIS UP N-    -slips-  AHHHH!  -thwack-

Grunt: -from within-   ... heh...

Tali: .... So...

Shepard: ...Yeah...

Tali: Does that mean the men's restroom is open?

Shepard: Yup.

Tali: Wanna.. wash my back? -giggles-

Shepard: Of course   -opens the door in the men's restroom- Let me just undr-  JACK?!

Jack: Ohh.. Hey Commander.

Shepard: WHAT THE HELL?!

When Garrus looked at the debris and then quickly looked away it seemed very stoic , which is something I expected from him.

Since I'm going to replay ME1 shortly before ME3 is released, which one is better in context of the romance with Tali? Which slot would it be?

I did learn that if you don't recruit Liara until the end, at some point Ashley badmouths Tali when Tali shares her opinion, and you can tell Ashley off  That's what I'm going to do when I replay it =p

I love KOTOR, I put that game on a pedestal, I still play it. The Sith Lords is a real tragedy, it had so much potential and you really could see that it could have been a very good game.

I am still debating with myself whether or not I like Mass Effect 2 more than KOTOR, though.

Shepard: I. Am. AWESOME!

I kinda wanted 'Back in Black' to start playing in the background just then. ^_^
