The only way I can see the major characters from ME2 and ME1 getting cut down to extra-like roles in ME3 like what happened with all non-Tali/Garrus party members from ME1 is if EA forced BioWare into it. If BioWare was simply interested in managing costs they would have just stucken with the team from ME1 in ME2. I'm serious. It would have been a lot cheaper than hiring a bunch of new voice actors - some of them fairly high pay-grade - to play an entirely new team in ME2, while also hiring the old VAs to do some cameos.



They did it for the art and because, thanks to their previous successes and the fact that (as far as I know) no BioWare game has ever returned a negative profit, they could get away with it.

That's what I don't get. Why to they pay so much for a VA if the VA only has a couple of sentences worth of dialogue. rather rediculous.
