After not being able to show affection during her life, Tali is finally able to reveal herself to the person she loves.

The most plot-significant characters are Tali, Legion, Liara, Ash/Kaiden, and likely Miranda since she had the biggest role in Mass Effect 2 and is the most difficult to kill off I have heard. I am sure that romantic involvement will not actually really affect what sort of choices you make in the next game, aside from how the character reacts to you during the romance.Collider wrote...
I don't think it's too much. It's just commenting. Most of the other LIs are not so tied to other subplots, yes. But we don't know about ME3's storyline nor where we will be going exactly. There's unfinished business with Cerberus so there's the potential for the Jacob/Miranda/Jack romances. There's unfinished business with the Alliance so there's the potential for Ashley/Kaidan romances. There's unfinished business with the Shadow Broker so there's Liara. For Thane and Garrus, provided we are recruiting races against the Reapers, there's also the possibility there for their respective homeplanets.
Tali is like a delicate flower you need to vewy careful with her or she sould sick uh my heart can some one post that one pic of shepard doing that hhhhhhhgggggggg thing that how I feel right nowCollider wrote...
Part of the reason why Tali's romance makes sense to me is because she's never really had anyone there for her aside from Shala, as far as we can tell. Her mother died when Tali was young and was not especially there for Tali. Her father was always busy and basically never there for her. So Shepard comes as her best friend and the only person she can rely on and trust. That's what the romance with her is about - trust and mutual respect.
To be fair: all romances are about trust and mutual respect. Each romance finds it through a unique way.Collider wrote...

My Fanfic (link in Siggy) ends with Tali dying in chapter one. However, I must point out, I do introduce a quarian god who is afraid of Shepard. Because he is going to bring her back.
. . .You have my attention.
I read that Miranda must survive until you find the crew because she has special dialogue with EDI.Azint wrote...

Oh, I'm not saying the romance should affect the choices at all. Just that we get people commenting. That's all, really. I'm not saying that it should be easier to solve the Quarian/Geth problem if you romanced Tali, just asking for Quarians to comment on their relationship rather than it truly changing anything. Basically, the same thing as Kasumi did.I am sure that romantic involvement will not actually really affect what sort of choices you make in the next game, aside from how the character reacts to you during the romance.
I think you are putting too much emphasis on the romance, it really is not that big of a part compared to the rest of the game.

any one have any good "lol" pics?
I found Tali's romance more so (in my opinion), considering her situation with the suit, etc. Her loyalty mission can also fail if you reveal her father's research and thereby misuse her trust in you.Azint wrote...

Now all my sick mind can think about is Tali's death...
Getting way too emotional over this. Need sleep, then possibly drug to get the thoughts out of my mind.
Keelah Se'lai amigos.
Really? I thought she could die escorting the crew or die by seeker swarms if you choose a bad biotic specialist.CamoBadger wrote...

I see, you just want third party acknowledgement. I'm sure Shepard's primary link to the Migrant Fleet will recieve some different reception if they see her with her Captain involved romantically.Collider wrote...

ok we will hold off on the "lol" pics...
we are talking about why we love tali so much!!!
hmmm... so why do i love tali so much..in all honesty one of the bigger reasons would be that this is her first love..
think about it.. i don't know if any of you have every been in love before but the first time is all ways the best.. its when its the most pure, when you are willing to share the most with that other person.... so if Shepard does not screw it up (which mine wont) she will truly love him with all of her heart
