Shepard was excited to see Tali's face because he had never seen her face before. Imagine being in love with a human woman who's face you've never seen. Sure you know what women look like, that isn't going to make you less curious about what this specific one looks like.
And Mordin's conversation seemed pretty legit to me.
I disagree with you, Phil. Nobody's seen the quarians without their suits, just ask the asari bartender on Illum
And I thought Mordin was "pulling my leg, aren'tcha?", "I would never dream...of mockery".
So you're saying Shepard was indeed up all night for the next week studying?!
What about Tali?

And JeanLuc, I agree mate
I remember one comic with Shepard frantically reading a pamphlet on how to survive the quarian pounce when Tali walks into his cabin. Something like that
We know Tali talked to Mordin as well, I'm sure she studied as well
Did she talk to Mordin? Or assuming? I assume she would, she's not stupid, she knows where to go for help. Omg...what if she asked Mordin about quarian/human relationships before she even knew if Shepard was interested in her?
"Tali'Zorah acquired anti septic."

One of Mordin's lines on the relationship conversation, he mentions that Tali'Zorah requested immuno boosters or something. Logically, I would expect her to ask him a lot of things when she was trying to find a way to be with Shep without dying.
Not sure if she would have asked before that. She's very doubtful that a relationship could ever happen, and in that case, why torture yourself

that's a good question
but well he is a doctor he is veeeeeery caring about the health of his patients
You talking about valuable diagrams and erogenous zones overviews? Why would that reveal a quarian's face?
Why would a book on quarian anatomy blur out their faces? If you know about quarian erogenous zones enough to put it in a book, you know what their faces look like.
Because Shepard was pretty excited about seeing Tali's face?
And I thought Mordin was joking with Shepard
Shepard was excited to see Tali's face because he had never seen her face before. Imagine being in love with a human woman who's face you've never seen. Sure you know what women look like, that isn't going to make you less curious about what this specific one looks like.

actually i think is a bit different, the asari matriarch speak about remembering the quarians whitout their suit, but she is speaking of a memory of a time before geth war
this doesnt necessary imply that no one knows how quarian are under their suits
in me1 Tali is cured on the citadel so the doc had some knowledge of quarian phisiology, sure no one see quarians go around whitout suits (as in the memory of the asari) but i bet there is still material as medicine "books", photos, maybe even prewar movies and art that show how quarians are

So she acquired anti-septic...I wonder if this was part of Tali's "hard work" to make the relationship work. I wondered what she meant when she said that...and then "don't worry, I have a lot of motivation"
She already has to talk to Mordin a lot probably because he's a doctor and she's a quarian, or maybe she patches herself up like when she "took fire on the Alerei". She's so strong gd it

Yeah I got the feeling that the matriarch bartender meant seeing them in person without their suits. There are a ridiculous amount of ways that people could know how they look like today. Things like books and videos that you mentioned don't get purged every 10 years. They would still be around.
On top of that, what can't you find on the internet? Its not like the suits are fused onto their bodies, they can take them off in a clean room. You're telling me no scum bag like TIM has capitalized on this lucrative market on the internet? We can't be the only ones who find quarians attractive

300 years isn't enough for a change in the appearance of a species. And like I said in my other post, there are still other ways to see quarians, even with them normally confined.

nobody have seen a quarian go around whitout suit in 300 years... but that doesnt mean there is not any material who shows how quarians are
300 year old pictures are something that should be granted but that doesnt mean there are even more recent materials as medicine books.... and dont forget that quarians still interact with other species... who knows maybe you can see a "naked" quarian even watching fleet and flottilla... as the turian was praising the love scenes

Wayne and Garth on the flotilla:
SCHWING
SCHWING SCHWING, SHWING
And TIM has no bugs in Shepard's cabin, EDI made sure of it
that reminds me, after the collectors kidnap the crew and EDI has to purge the Normandy? How are Shepard's fish still alive and his furniture isn't all messed up?
Could set the furniture back up, but his fish would be quite dead
