The collectors seem to have some tech or whatever that lets them "detect" humans. This evident by the fact that on Freedom's Progress everyone was taken except Veetor.



It could also explain how they were able to 'see' the first Normandy even though it was stealthed. Though I personally don't subscribe to that theory.

Well, you know, it depends... I'm sure that if they actually chose more civilized region of Earth, they wouldn't have to worry about racism floating in the air. (Hint: more civilized =/= more urbanized)

I think they can just detect stealth on any ship. All that is hidden is the heat emissions, maybe the collectors have other ways of detecting ships.

You may have noticed that the were in visual range.  And yes, I know the collector base has no windows, but their cruisers should.  They need to land on planets and whatnot.

Actually, reading through Cerberus Daily News, it mentions that a Krogan played Quarterback for either the Beijing Dragons or New York Giants in the Super Bowl. Source.

So it looks like Earth may be pretty tolerant of aliens, if one's playing in a "human" sport.

Dunno about colonist, but Spacer was, I think, born on space ships.

Maybe on Earth, but spent an insignificant amount of time there.

Not sure a city would be better.  Even if the average person is more civilized, you have a lot more idiots.  You still have millions of people who were born as the biggest badasses in the universes, and now that isn't true anymore.  They've probably had no exposure to aliens at all.  That combination of ignorance and fear will breed contempt.

i'm going to bet she is a good dancer
she says that dancers are respected in her culture, so probably music and dance probably are quite rooted in quarian culture, she likes the "disco dance" on the citadel in me1 and she indeed seem very agile (and probably quite strong too). i will be quite surprised if she doesnt know how to dance
