Well, you know, it depends... I'm sure that if they actually chose more civilized region of Earth, they wouldn't have to worry about racism floating in the air. (Hint: more civilized =/= more urbanized)

Not sure a city would be better.  Even if the average person is more civilized, you have a lot more idiots.  You still have millions of people who were born as the biggest badasses in the universes, and now that isn't true anymore.  They've probably had no exposure to aliens at all.  That combination of ignorance and fear will breed contempt. 

*sigh* I was just trying to tell that 'more civilized region' doesn't need to mean 'more urbanized'. I'd say that eastern Europe countryside would do nicely. Can't imagine xenophobia in such place...

Yeah I misread your =/= thing, my mistake.  Still, you have to balance things.  you can go into the middle of a forest and not worry about any racism, but how is that a nice vacation.  Tali likes crowded places and stuff like that.  She would want to see the cities and architectural masterpieces.  Not countryside. 

And 300 years is a long time.  A place not being xenophobic now means nothing about it's opinion 300 years later
on something as different as aliens.  Too many variables to know where would be a good place in the ME universe.

I agree with that idea.  You can tell people are either hating on Miranda because she is a ****, or Tali because they are jealous.

It would be less obvious if the person who made the poll hasn't trolled here and other threads before.  The intention of the poll is to drum up constant hate for Tali, and create an atmosphere of character bashing towards the others in response. 

Most of us are above that, but it will still get spammed here constantly, leading to pointless bashing of characters while its still up.

I won't lose any sleep if Tali loses that poll, but the fact that it's a poll by an anti-tali troll would make it just a tad bit sweeter for her to win. <3

Btw, it looks like the next one Zaeed is going to be the 'popular' one.
