I think most people have come over to the school of thought that its so unlikely that she won't be a squad mate that it isn't worth worrying about. 

its far more likly that she would be a NPC..

she is one of the easier to get killed

people think you will need her in your party for peace talks with the geth.... she can talk just fine as a NPC

peope think she is now tied to the normandy... right the same way she was tied to rayya for all of ME2... did not stop her from leaving it

and what it really comes down to is money.. would bioware really use money on a character that was easy to kill in there last game....

there is the argument that they will lose money if she is not in ME3.... this may be true.. theycould just give her a role like wrex...

Maybe, just maybe, Bioware didn't show Tali's face to the players because when they designed her, she was too beautiful. And players wouldn't be able to complete the game, because every time they see Tali, they would think of her beauty and stop focusing on all the big bad collectors.

Tali becoming an admiral and Liara finding TSB are irrelevant compared to the reapers irradicating all life in the galaxy.  That's the only thing that matters in ME3.  And Shep needs to start preparing for their arrival right away.  They could get here in 10 years, or a week.  No time to procrastinate.

Maybe the game elapses a couple of years to incorporate that stuff, but I don't see how we get a gap between the start of the games.

But she says that she's been suggested as a candidate.

Only time will tell. I don't really mind which route they take, as long as Shepard doesn't die again.

I fully agree.  When every time Tali comes in 30 people quote her post saying something along the lies of "I can haz hug?"...little annoying, to say the least.
It annoys me more when someone posts something nasty, right in front of BioWare employees.

Oh, I missed that.

Well, it's anyone's guess at that point. Maybe her body will ignore it, or maybe it'll actually be pretty lethal to her.

Or they ran out of space and hate to choose between Tali's face and Space Hamster.

lol I agree though, and am happy it will be in ME3..if they don't reveal, I won't be disappointed. I know it'll be legendary

Yeah Ive been reading Reunion, I love it, my ONE complaint...why does shepard use the word "girlfriend"...that just made me facepalm so hard when I saw that...other then that I've been eagerly awaiting the next chapter
