I play on insanity mode and Tali falls no more then any other Squad member.

Actually she usually survives longer and is of more use to me since her drones often set up my targets for a perfect head shot.

I guess taking the time to put her behind cover in a flanking position / creating a crosfire zone between her and Garrus helps a ton.

If you want my opinion, Miranda is the most useful squad mate in general in gameplay because she can take out barriers and shields at the same time. Miri is second. The best in combat is Grunt simply because he is a tank. I see him take down Harbinger, elite characters and even a Scion by him self.

both Legion and Kasumi are way better than Miri imo...
for a soldier Miri is pretty good as it cover all the defences, but if you alredy have warp i generally found Tali more usefull

Miri can take down all defences and she has bonus powers that add to your damage and health. She is the second best in the game because of her skills, not her weapons and even then, just give her the Locust and she is deadly.

I cant say I agree with this at all. if you have a group make up soley on skill use and not necessarily on skills she is possibly the worst to have in the group. Which is what I do normally. Garrus being the only exception. Even then I prefer Tali and her drone over Miri and her gorup wep/hp boost cause hp boost seems kinda useless to me if you play the game well.

I beat insanity with Miri and Mordin as a Soldier.............

Cant say im planning on using soldier ever again, makes the game far too easy. used it on my first play through and all I had to do was pop adrenaline rush and id down 3-4 enemies every time. Im trying to use things you have to use more than 1 skill to beat the game now.

I'm an Infiltrator, and I usually use Garrus and Tali, since they're a brilliant team with you.

You and Garrus with Snipers, and Tali using Chiktikka as support, making it easy to set up shots for you and Garrus. Tali Hacks Shields, Shepard uses Incinerate for Armor, and Garrus's Concussion Blast for Barriers.

It's a thing of beauty.
