People are going to wig out about this for no good reason. They just got done talking about the 1000+ choices that can carry over to ME3...so stop worrying, your actions will carry over, your story won't be standalone, but somebody who wants to buy just ME3 can have a just ME3 game without having to buy and play the last 2 titles.

3. We get to see her face.

Bioware will never reveal her face. They have dug a deep hole in which they cannot get out of. Tali's face is open to so much ambgiouty, that creating a "real" face for her could cause a lot of disappointment They now need to draw a face that must please over 9000 people without displeasing the other 9000 people.

They've dug themselves in a no-win situation. They show her face, people are disappointed. They don't show her face, people are disappointed.

The only way to get remotely close to winning is to say "Hey, look, we'd love to show you Tali's face, but we never really developed the idea before, and we can't reach a consensus about what she looks like. So use your imagination and make it your dream girl."

There is one flaw with this argument.  The group that wants her face revealed is the overwhelming majority.  You can never please everyone, but a situation like this where you can please most people (reveal,) its not bad.  Any generic face on Tali will get a much better reception than hiding it for the trilogy.  They also have already let the cat out of the bag that they have her face drawn, so that excuse is gone.

I've gone over all the facts multiple times in the past, I've settled on a 96% chance of seeing her face.  Its going to happen.

I want her face revealed, yes, but if it's a choice between unrevealed face and generic one... I'll stick with having her face unrevealed.

I don't think anybody really expected too much about ME2.

I don't expect the decisions changing the entirety of the plot, but some effect would be nice. Even if it's just changing who you talk to during a cutscene, like I suggested before, I'd be okay with it.

I agree with you there.  The affect your decisions will have on your crew members alone is enough for me.  I'm just saying that people will complain about it when rewriting/destroying the heretics and blowing up/saving the collector base don't change the plot.

Bad choice of words there by me.  I just meant a normal, attractive face, like every other video game character ever.  No predators

I wouldn't expect anything too outlandish honestly though.  I would expect her to be pretty normal looking.

Tali's picture will always be the one in my head. I picture her with light purple skin, glowing white eyes, kind of Bastilla-esque hair, which depending on her mood changes color from black to silver to a more purple-ish hue, a slightly curved nose, a looong tongue (which creates the accent), and of course... Dem hips.

My point exactly.

For all the pictures I've seen, I honestly can't imagine one fitting onto Tali in-game. I can't imagine any of them speaking with The Accent.

I personally don't care if we don't see what she looks like. If we do, it has to fit the character as we've come to picture her, which would be a nearly impossible task for Bioware to do, as everybody has their own interpretation of what fits.

They have about as much chance of pleasing the whole Tali fanbase as a paper dog has of chasing an asbestos cat through Hell and surviving to talk about it.
