The game takes place over 3 months. Do you want a real time version of Mass Effect? The Normandy is like 25 people living on a space ship. I'm sure there are constant conversations throughout the game. Its impossible to see them all.
I've acknowledged before that character development was not an objective of ME1. Thats why there are things like this in ME1, and ME2 does a better job delving into characters reactions to things. Really, the only answer is that it clearly happens at some point, we just don't see it. If that angers you, feel free to complain to Bioware, but Tali didn't ignore the episode.
I imagine they do this to give people the ability to make fanfics in general, it allows people to fill the holes themselves, which is basically what my fanfic does. I fill in the holes they left and i'm having a lot of fun with it. If it bothers you so much, make it up how you want it to be done.

Hell, why is every single Tali unmasked fanart purple?
(Her skin seems pale-ish white to me, just because her mask is purple doesn't mean the face underneath it is)

So yeah, I do think that one of the reasons she chose engineering was as a "Sorry girl, he's mine, let me make it clear to you" thing.
I really don't think she felt any kind of "threat" from Jack--wouldn't surprise me if she didn't even bother 'clear' her out.

Her texture is flat gray (not sure if that means anything, but I'd be more inclined to think her actual skintone would be more along those lines.Thundertactics wrote...

2 reasons:
1. Purple is hot
2. Who wants their aliens to have human colored skin? Purple isn't taken by any race, and its easy to look at her suit/visor and connect that to her skin color.

You know, if Kelly noticed Tali's body language in regards to Shepard and interpreted she had feelings for him, it's basically a guaranteed thing that "Ms. Perfect" Miranda would've noticed it too and came to the same conclusion.

Miranda also taps into all of the systems and could find out pretty much anything she wants, which can be shown in the email you can get from Mirandas sister if you have her talk to her. It says something along the lines P.P.S. Miranda I know you can see all of this stop reading his messages.

We unfortunately don't know what her skin color is.
Based on how her skin appears lighter than her mask, it does seem she's supposed to be a pale color.

Seriously you guys, I need to know what Shala says when Tali gets exiled, I can't be bothered to fire up my save before the Tali hug scene and beat that Prime again.
well she get mad at you because she worked hard to give Tali the opportunity to board the ship of his father and wanted to protect her from the exile, then basically she said you have to take care of her and that anyway Tali will be in her(their) heart

Flat gray would work too, I'm just a little tired of all the stereotypes that seem to be used in all these drawings. (For the love of God, stop making her a bloody space-elf! D: (Granted, those are becoming less common, so let's hope the same thing happens for her skin))JeanLuc761 wrote...

Also, a point of discussion, what I'd like is that Bioware doesn't show Tali's face (too many variables on what people like), but does show the physiology of another quarian so we can at least stop speculating on her skin-colour, ears and whether her eyes really glow.

So you think that in the days after Virmire, you and Tali had no conversations at all? You don't think you discussed the huge event that just took place on Virmire?
She says in ME2 that the event affected her, so she would have talked about it a little when the conversation happened. We just didn't see it.

Yeah but I don't think Tali is messaging anyone about her feelings for Shep.

Well, going by visor color there would be white, yellowish, and black as well as the purple for skin colors on quarians. Actually, it makes sense this is the case.
