We unfortunately don't know what her skin color is.

Based on how her skin appears lighter than her mask, it does seem she's supposed to be a pale color. 

Well, I don't think that quarians can do much sun bathing while they're onboard the Migrant Fleet

Well, going by visor color there would be white, yellowish, and black as well as the purple for skin colors on quarians.  Actually, it makes sense this is the case.

You seem to forget the ammount of visor colours available in ME1 (shame on you if you didn't get her a Colossus X armor).

i'm talking more of how she could hear whatever EDI can considering a lot of the context/dialogue happens near her consoles.

Why is she purple?
Hell, why is every single Tali unmasked fanart purple?

Her texture is flat gray (not sure if that means anything, but I'd be more inclined to think her actual skintone would be more along those lines.

Flat gray would work too, I'm just a little tired of all the stereotypes that seem to be used in all these drawings. (For the love of God, stop making her a bloody space-elf! D: (Granted, those are becoming less common, so let's hope the same thing happens for her skin))

Also, a point of discussion, what I'd like is that Bioware doesn't show Tali's face (too many variables on what people like), but does show the physiology of another quarian so we can at least stop speculating on her skin-colour, ears and whether her eyes really glow.

This is a very cheap, but nice alternative rather than showing Tali's face, you can see the other Quarians complections/face in order to allow further speculation/drawing of Tali and a whole nother level to complexity of fanfic. But at the same time the low blow cause why would you be able to see any Quarians and not Tali? if other Quarians are exposed, id question why Tali wouldnt be there out of her suit as well.

Well, how much sun they get doesn't really mean anything in regards to their skin color.

If Quarians (just an example) were meant to be dark skinned, they'd still be dark skinned even after not getting any sunlight on the Flotilla. If you got a black person for example, and put him on a spaceship for his whole life, his skin wouldn't lose its dark pigmentation.

Unmasking a different quarian doesn't address the issue of the inconsistency in the role playing aspect of the player being Shepard, and it would make the time they spent drawing Tali's face and then announcing it a nice waste.  I've said it before and I'll say it again.  Tali is going to be unmasked.  Like her no matter what, or GTFO .  I mean that as a joke really, but honestly, it does annoy me to hear that people think that a face slightly off of their interpretation would make them like her any less.  Her face is a part of her character.  There is no reason that we shouldn't see it, and not wanting to anger a minority of fans is a horrible reason.

And I still see purple as the likely color personally, if only because quarians are already going to look like humans.  They don't need to have a human skin tone on top of that

Yeah, saw it when it first came 'round, love it.
But her eyes are a bit off. (And yes, I know the artist said it was difficult for him to show emotions with white irises, so he just went with human eyes with some implants around it to explain the glowing.)

Older individuals are particularly good at noticing these things, and I imagine Tali probably talked tons about her adventures with Shepard when she got back from her pilgrimage. <3
