I can't believe how ignorant some people can be. Blaming the quarians for the geth attack. Like they had any control over those geth to begin with. But when the salarians almost wiped out both the krogans and the rachnni, it's OK. They even got a seat on the Council.

Your chronological order seems off.

And Things are worse for Lia'Veil because of the geth attack has increased quarian prejudice.

Well, the Protheans knew how to name stuff. The Reapers for example. I bet the asari would've called them "The Harvesters".

I think it would be better if quarians help humans take over the galaxy, the two races will rule together while all others will be slaves :devil:

And Shep will be the emperor, with Tali at his side

The quarians were completely to blame for the geth attack.  They broke the rules regarding AIs.  Yes, holding that against their descendants is stupid, but the ancestors deserve the blame.  They did have control over the geth.  They could have, you know, not built them :?

The salarians saved the galaxy from the rachni, or at least thats the majority view.  The council races didn't have the ability to take the fight to the rachni homeworld.  The krogans could.  The salarians saved many lives, and then "fixed" the problem in the best way they could.  If you truly believe the rachni would have eradicated all life in the galaxy (which is the view I believe,) isn't the salarian's solution preferable?

I'm sure there are some.  Not any kind of significant percentage, but Earth doesn't have any restrictions to aliens that I know of.  There could be embassies of some sort, people doing research, stuff like that.

Because passing laws one can't enforce adequately is stupid, think you'd have learned with how many are around now

It's a damn shame, true, but I don't think the Quarians would be covered by Council policies, as they're not members of a Council species, associate or full.

Hell, the Council members probably discriminate against them themselves.

Well, thing is that some racial discrimination would be justified in a place with multiple alien races.

For example, if a nightclub owner was hiring bouncers, would you really hold it against him if he had up a sign saying "Not hiring salarians or volus"?

Of course, with Lia'Vael it wasn't an issue of her not being suited for the job. I'm just using that as an example oh how the council would probably want to avoid making laws that dealt with equal-opportunity employment.

Or, the Council could've listen to the quarians and help them destroy the geth 300 years ago when they had the chance.

Beg to differ with ya on the quarians.  Only things they are responsible for are creating the geth and losing their home world.
The geth attacks are due to Sovereign.  The heretics were following him.  The geth believe in self determination.

Lots of reasons.  The council members are racist, the council races are racist, the council races like racism.  There are more like that

You think the asari, turians, and salarians now humans have a problem with being superior over everyone else?  People in power will seek to keep that power, and they have all the army.  No racial equality is coming any time soon in the ME universe.

Unless you know, ME3 plays out like I've assumed and you end up coup'ing the council
