Council
: For endangering the galaxy by creating the geth, you are no longer welcome here!

Quarians: Damn... that sucks. Oh well, at least you'll wipe out the geth, since you feel they endanger the galaxy.

Council: No, we're not gonna worry about them.

Quarians: But... you just said you think they're a danger to the galaxy!

Council: They are, they're rogue AIs

Quarians: So go take them out!

Council: No, we're not gonna worry about them.

Bunch of P***ies.

As much as I sympathize with the quarians they did essentially attempt to commit genocide against another sentient species. Maybe if the quarians hadn't decided that the geth were a threat and instead decided to accept the fact they had created sentient life and give them the opportunity to develop things could have been far better for both sides.

Yeah, but ignoring the geth and just let them do whatever they want behind the Persius Veil is like ignoring children playing with matches at a gas station, and then say: I sure didn't see that explosion coming. Oh, well.

I agree there, I'm not defending council intelligence.  These are the same people that are actively trying to stop you from stopping the reapers.  Simple indifference is too much to ask for <_<

Ironically, without reaper intervention, they would have been right about the geth though.  The true geth have been no problem at all.

Lets see now.
Council armada:
  Asari, Turian, Salarian and Human.
Shepards Armada:
  Shepard, Rachni, Quarian, Krogan, Geth.

May be interesting to watch :)

This is why I expect to fight the council in ME3.  There are no reapers in their point of view.  What possible explanation could Shepard have for gathering that army aside from planning a coup?

Check list:
Krogan, only thing to win against Rachni . . .CHECK
Rachni, unstoppable until the Krogan . . .CHECK
Quarian, 50,000 ships all with weapons . . .CHECK
Geth, well, their Geth! . . . CHECK
Ready to go.

Lets not forget Anderson with him still being large in command of the alliance. It controls one of the largest armies there is.Image IPB

I could see Udina coup'ing Anderson as well.  He's a much better politician, and this would be his chance to get in good with the council races.  He's betrayed us once before and we didn't put a bullet in him.  Consequences...

The Alliance would split.  Half following Humdinger and the other half loyal to Anderson and Shepard.   And they are still recovering from the battle as well.

I could see Udina coup'ing Anderson as well.  He's a much better politician, and this would be his chance to get in good with the council races.  He's betrayed us once before and we didn't put a bullet in him.  Consequences...

Nar Rayya until she completes her pilgrimage, vas Neema once she completes her pilgrimage, until they strip her of her ship name during the trial, then she's vas Normandy.  I prefer vas Normandy personally

*edit* nevermind,  I think a picture was posted that I have blocked, and I thought a question was asked

This is true, but he could also see it as a chance to gain a higher seat of power with the other council members being killed off. Hell, for all we know, he is already collaberating with assassins to kill them so he has all the more power.
Udina is a nevil basterd and will play to anything that gives him more power.
