The Alliance would split.  Half following Humdinger and the other half loyal to Anderson and Shepard.   And they are still recovering from the battle as well.

Shepard can't have much pull left with the Alliance.  He was a big hero, but he died and is doing his own thing now.  Rejoining the Alliance would entail following orders, and he doesn't have the luxury of fighting random geth and running fool's errands.

Also, if Udina manages to get Anderson kicked out of his council seat, I would imagine it would be a serious enough reason to knock him out of power in the Alliance as well.  In fact, Anderson probably lost that power already when he joined the council.

If the Alliance follows the council like I think they do, Udina would be all that matters.

Why doesn't the council pass a law forbidding Racial descrimination of any kind? Lazy basterds...

That destroy's free enterprise and opens up a big bag of worms regarding the limitations of descrimination as well as the steps necessary to moniter and judge that descrimination.
