Why not? It's his buisness. By not hiring turians it's likely he's alienating all that entire race from his buisness. Maybe he's in a burger joint for humans. Why hire turians who would require a great deal of precautionary steps and medical forms to do the same job any batarian can?

If you make it illegal to do that, then he'll hire that turain because he has to. So he'll hate the turian even more because he's begrudged against his will to hire him. You'll have turians taking advantage of their protected status and abuse how far they can stretch their protection before getting fired. You'll also get people who hire turians giving them the absolute worst possible jobs, at the lowest pay, and firing them as soon as they get a chance in the legal system.

Thats not even mentioning how much effort you'd need to begin to moniter and legislature would be necessary to cover such an easily manipulated system. It's built around personal opinion.


Today, in America, people can still say "Not Hiring Blacks" and it's completely legal.

No one does, because it's a terrible buisness choice.

You're thinking small time. Wake up to the real world.  Making discrimation illegal just makes more problems and doesn't change how people actually feel.

Since when is that legal to do that? do you live in the f***ing 50's, dude?
You don't hire someone because of his/her race, you hire them because of their qualifications.
