Well, I don't really know what's going on in there, but from my observation of this thread, no one's really even talked about it.

If they're going to bash irrationally and out of hate, there's really nothing we can do. 

Maybe a handful of them will actually think, and say to themselves "Hey wait a minute, come to think of it, I don't remember ant Talimancers even really talking about this"

It's still legal to not hire someone in your personal job for any reason you want. Race, Color, Gender, Age, anything. If it is your buisness you are free to discriminate. It's part of the many freedoms of the US that allow you to make that choice. The down side is, your buisness will suffer.

And yes, you SHOULD hire people based on their qualifications. Sadly it doesn't work that way most the time.

No. People who are racist don't hire people for the reason of being racist but hide that and say something like "He's too weak".
Ex. A black guy applies for a job, the racist boss says "Dammit, I don't want to hire this black" he then goes like "You're qulifications aren't good enough."

If you wanted to start a discussion, you'd need something more than that though.

For example, you could ask "What are those 'scan lines' on the inside of her mask? Is that some kind of texture, or can her mask actually feed video?' 

Hey, come to think of it, that's a pretty good point. I definitely see her mask having HUD elements, and it just 'turned off' since it was removed from the helmet.

Hell, maybe when it even shows her a color-accurate image when it's turned on.

What's the joke?  That sounds about right to me.  I can't imagine Earth being very pleasant in 300 years.  Especially once the focus shifts towards the stars altogether.

I want to raise one of Tali already. She already saved against Saren...

In my playthrough of ME1, Tali executed Saren. Damn, feisty.
