The only members of the entire ME2 crew who deserves hate is Morinth and Zaeed.

They're the only ones who do anything vile, cruel, evil etc enough to warrant such a response.

Miranda is a bit ****y, get over it.
Jacob is a bit dull, get over it.
Jack is a lot crazy, get over it.

Nothing they do, not from "but the prize" or sleeping with shepard in the engine room warrants these characters as being hate worthy.

If you hate them, then you need to check yourself, check your emotions, and check your priorities.

Why do you hate Zaeed?

I would assume its the thousands of deaths that he's personally responsible for as a leader of a mercenary group?  That's my guess at least.

Oh thats it.:?

I still like him.

You shouldn't be asking me, i like both Zaeed and Morinth, but following Lareit's logic it seems all characters who did something even remotely evil should be hated, so let's just hate everyone in the whole damn game shall we

Yeah I didnt mean you, meant Lareit, sorry.

Yeah, BioWare did a great job with Tali. Almost too good. Feels almost like everyone else is left in the shadows. Bah, serves them right.

And Haestrom is the only place where you face a Colossus. Not counting the Firewalker DLC.

Definitely like old times.[/quote]
I'm going to be a heretic and say that, imo, Garrus, Thane and Jack had exceptionally good romances as well.

I can very easily see all of them as being "on par" with the Tali romance, depending on your mindset/who you're interested in.

I liked Jack's better than Tali... had more character development IMO.. Tali was pretty much in I love you mode since Freedom's Progress... Would've preferred building it a bit instead of just strengthening it

*Ghasps how can you say that Tali has the best character development and
personality in the entire game!
oh well its ur opinion I guess

Because froma  relationship standpoint she didn't really develop, even Kelly pointe dout she was into you when you first recruit her... Sure she developed a lot as a chacter, her loyalty mission was great at touching upon her and her past; but her feelings for you never really changed.

I like Jack's romance, not sure I would say it was a ton of character development though.  Can pretty much be summed up as tough exterior is cracked.  Pretty cliche actually.

Tali's is like that if you only count ME2.  Personally, I factor ME1 in as well, then you can see the relationship grow from the beginning.  Making her go back to not liking you to start ME2 wouldn't have made any sense.

Its all opinion though

Something remotely evil? I ignore Jack, Miranda's affilation with cerberus, Modrin's genophage creation, Grunt being krogany.

Morinth is just a serial rapist killer, end of dicussion.

Zaeed, even if you ignore his past, decides to blow up a refinery and killing the innocent workers inside, despite the fact our mission is to save those same people. All for his personal vendetta. Thats pretty clear cut evil. It's hard to imagine if samara was there she wouldn't flip a wig about it.

I actually think Zaeed is a badass, and I don't hate him. I'm simply clarifying they're the only 2 who are vile enough to justify hate.

Indeed.  It works, in the context of her character because we have to consider that it's development from ME1 -> ME2, rather than ME2 only like Jack is.  Though, granted, we never really got much of a hint in ME1 that Tali was interested.

Could have started off as platonic liking, instead of her instantly wanting more...

Sure they did, the love between them increased as the missions went on until she finally felt she would be able to give in for you. Showing the most trusting ritual the Quarians have.

Alright, I don't have a lot of experience with internet fandoms but I've got to say that, this thread excluded, that bioware social network has one of the most b!tchy, stuck up, ignorant and all round unpleasant communities I've ever been a part of.

I'm not just talking about the latest poll thing, that doesn't bother me, its all the trolls, ignorant haters, and pretentious hipsters that post here.

Zaeed still had some sence of honor, he wasnt a ruthless killer. I think that was just more out of anger and revenge.

ah see now I know where your coming from, makes more sense I suppose, ur right about the loyalty mission, I actually got angry there at how the admirals were treating her, if I were there
I would have gone mental, good thing its just a game then... however much it hurts to hear myself say that. :P

Alas, we are not viewed highly amongst the others.

The scariest thing was that I was literally halfway towards siding with Miranda and not with Tali, and being... one of them...

But I made my choice based on loyalty.

I dont think the Blue Suns were all that bad before. They were prob just a regular merc gang until Vido took over and then they became really bad.
