I never got past Jack's "psycho bit*h" style. And when i saw her and Miranda fight each other, I thought I was back in high school.

While Tali's willing to protect the Fleet, even if it means exile for her.

And as I said before, even the game wants Shepard and Tali to be together, so why fight it?

*Ghasps how can you say that Tali has the best character development and personality in the entire game!
oh well its ur opinion I guess

Because froma  relationship standpoint she didn't really develop, even Kelly pointe dout she was into you when you first recruit her... Sure she developed a lot as a chacter, her loyalty mission was great at touching upon her and her past; but her feelings for you never really changed.

Sure they did, the love between them increased as the missions went on until she finally felt she would be able to give in for you. Showing the most trusting ritual the Quarians have.

Why I said developed and not just strengthed, please read full posts before disagreeing. :)

I am not seeing how is not developed further. Simple love interest to bestowing upon Shepard that could kill her seems to be development to me.

Jack so have you thought about what colors your going to use in pic?

Is Jack me? ^_^

LOL I mean Jake :pinched:.

I know in this time period folks wore alot of leather and khakis. were you thinking about changing up the color scheme??

I was thinking a combination of brown leather, burlap-ish, and maybe black leather if I can pull it off... Along with copper and brass, again if I can pull it off...

I like Jack's romance, not sure I would say it was a ton of character development though.  Can pretty much be summed up as tough exterior is cracked.  Pretty cliche actually.

Tali's is like that if you only count ME2.  Personally, I factor ME1 in as well, then you can see the relationship grow from the beginning.  Making her go back to not liking you to start ME2 wouldn't have made any sense.

Its all opinion though

Could have started off as platonic liking, instead of her instantly wanting more...

There's no time for that.  Its a suicide mission :wizard:

In all seriousness though, they aren't people living a normal life.  They're friendship that they developed over ME1 to pre-romance ME2 was the platonic liking.  Once they officially get together, what are they supposed to do?  They can't go on dates or anything.  They've already experienced more together than any other couple could.  The only thing left is sex.

Alas, we are not viewed highly amongst the others.

Also, -brofist-

And I can't understand that, what is it about us that makes people hate us so much. I just want to express my love for a certain aspect of this game. Whats so bad about that?

Exactly, sir.

Nobody said their hatred was rational. They just hate us because they think we have a tendency to flame them because we feel we're "better". Any time somebody posts something critical of Tali, people start waiting for the hate, and then we never show up. So I think they get pissed off when we flame them and pissed off when we prove their stereotypes wrong.

QFT, unfortunately.

I've never seen such a great group of people that's so despised by others.
We're like quarians here...it's ****ing irrational why they hate us so much, but they do.
And ya know what, I'm damn proud to be one of the Talimancers.  I couldn't see myself anywhere else.

You shouldn't be asking me, i like both Zaeed and Morinth, but following Lareit's logic it seems all characters who did something even remotely evil should be hated, so let's just hate everyone in the whole damn game shall we

Something remotely evil? I ignore Jack, Miranda's affilation with cerberus, Modrin's genophage creation, Grunt being krogany.

Morinth is just a serial rapist killer, end of dicussion.

Zaeed, even if you ignore his past, decides to blow up a refinery and killing the innocent workers inside, despite the fact our mission is to save those same people. All for his personal vendetta. Thats pretty clear cut evil. It's hard to imagine if samara was there she wouldn't flip a wig about it.

I actually think Zaeed is a badass, and I don't hate him. I'm simply clarifying they're the only 2 who are vile enough to justify hate.

Actually in the long term leaving the workers to die and killing Vido will save more lives because there's nothing stopping him from taking over another refinery or doing something else just as bad, you say it's evil, i say it's logical thinking, what's a few hundred lives compared to the thousands that can be saved.

And about Morinth - for her killing is like drug, she needs it to survive and i'm pretty sure that anyone in her place would do it

Consumating your feelings doesn't necessarily mean that you're deepening your emotional feelings for someone. Would it mean less if she said she loved you but didn't want to have sex?

My opinion on Zaeed changed quite a bit when I heard this line of his:

Zaeed's is at about 1:20

Tali's is about 1:00, if you're curious.

I know there are worse places but this one is pretty bad, so much senseless hate and people who think its funny to ****** people off for no good reason.

I wish this place had mods like on relicnews forums

I would assume its the thousands of deaths that he's personally responsible for as a leader of a mercenary group?  That's my guess at least.

Well, Shep's also killed thousands of people, so has Tali and all the others but i don't see anyone hating them for it :P

I fail to see how killing criminals, and luring freighter ships full of innocent people into an ambushable position, killing everyone, and then stealing the goods is the same thing :?

I thought murder was wrong no matter who you kill

The whole goal of mercenaries is loyalty to the money.  They will kill anyone, or steal anything if it makes them a profit.  Even if they were better under Zaeed, the most basic mercenary will wipe out a town full of unarmed civilians for the right price.  Mercs are not good people.

hey hey going on about the whole 'wish tali were real' type thing, I can't wait for full virtual reality, how awesome would that be to be able to feel the world around you speak to the characters as if they were real and most of all... give Tali a huge HUG:P ok some of us may do a little more than that ;)

My issue was the lack of an emotional curve... Sure I liked Tali in ME1; but she never showed any interest, that whole game was a development of stranger to platonic friend... Then jump to ME2 and she's already in love with you, I would've felt more rewarded at having tow ork from platonic friends again, maybe even general distrust at you for being with cerberus. Anything to feel as if I had to do anything but smile at her.

I dont quite think I understand what you are trying to say or vise versa. Simple sex between two humans I could understand why you are saying this, but having sex with Shepard could kill her. It isnt something that just happens willy nilly like 1 night stands which a simple love interest could be. I really dont know how to put it differently than this.Image IPB

She had two years to think about you while you were dead. I'm sure she had some emotions to sort out during that period.
