I thought we found out at some point that based on her femur length or something she was between 5-9 and 5-11, and only a few inches shorter than Shep? Isn't she taller than him on her toes either way though?
Well, that's the thing. All we can go by is her representation in the game, and everyone is the same height in-game (except for stuff like Volus or whatever, of course).
I'm just saying, I think realistically, she would likely be quite bit shorter than Shepard. Females on average are 4" shorter than males, and quarians are supposed to be smaller than humans.
Still, that doesn't exclude the possibility that maybe she's just tall for her race.Again, all we really have to go by is their in-game representation, so I guess that's all we can use for now.
I have seen woman that are like 6 feet tall...............

I love how Tali is standing on her toes in both ME1 and ME2 squad screens
She's just self conscious about her height. (I don't really mean that)
But, despite what the game shows (due to technical limitations), I imagine she's quite a bit shorter than Shepard.

an alien femur is not a good indicator to measure height, the bone structure can be quite different from a quarian and an human... but the "problem" is that ingame we have not really different heights and most chars have kinda the same height, only way to know that will be the word of a ME writer

No need to involve the writers, I'm fine with filling in the blanks to my personal preferences

The bags needed to be transported and I didn't have a wheel barrel!

Actually, a femur's a good measure, even for quarians. Quarian anatomy is clearly humanoid in design, so the same principles of physics that shaped our skeleton will have shaped there's, so long as the gravity of Rannoch wasn't significantly off. It's not chance or coincidence that our femurs are a certain ratio to the rest of our bodies - it's because we evolved to stand upright on a world with gravity at 1g.
Granted, it probably wouldn't be exactly the same ratio. But it probably isn't a bad standard to use as a base, unless quarian bones are hollow (in which case, walking birds like ostriches would be a better model).

It's not so bad. Something like a bag can easily be put on your shoulder, so you don't really use your arm muscles to carry it, but your back muscles to keep yourself balanced.

Model starships, a fish tank, a space hamster. That kind of thing.
And of course Shepard.
