How many of you intended to book passage on another ship and handle your stuff on your own?! *looks at every ME2 squad member*
Well, not everybody's loyalty mission is as urgent as hers (although, I don't think there's really a time limit). Mordin's not the kind to go running off, Grunt
thinks his might be although he has no way to get to Tuchanka on his own, Garrus' is really a brooding grudge more than anything else, Thane's and Legion's are moderate-level of urgency, and Jack's, Kasumi's, Zaeed's, and Jacob's are all
really low priority. The only person I can think of whose mission comes off as urgently as Tali's is Miranda's, but she seems to be far too professional and devoted to Cerberus to run off in the middle of the mission.
Not saying that it's not kind of endearing, but it's hardly surprising that it would be Tali, who has experience hitchhiking from her Pilgrimage and who always acts as though she's the odd one out, who would be the one to consider leaving on her own to solve a problem that is very close to life and death for her.
