Geth attack Jump Zero and Shepard is accused of treason while Shepards sister is being taken away to live with another family. It also turns out that his former team mate who betrayed him is there trying to cure the genophage/ Shepard arrives and is tried by a council of his mother who presides, Admiral Hackett who wants Shepard to kill lots of geth, Admiral Michaealovich who brought the charges up and some other admiral who wants to expirement on the geth.

Shepard then has to complete N7 training and fight a bunch of creatures and a thresher maw in a burning refinery. He also discovers his father had gone crazy, enslaved a bunch of people, brought the geth onto Jump Zero and then was killed by them. He also discovers he father a son and a daughter with Ash and must kill his daughter and stop his son from killing Udina. Tali then speaks pasionately at his trial and he is cleared of all charges.
