Tali was really good in ME1, probably the strongest squadmate in the game. However like all squadmates she suffered from poor AI

Liara liked to shoot me
Garrus enjoyed switching to weapons he wasn't trained in
Tali really hated those boxes
Kaidan thought real combat was like Halo and mostly tried to circle strafe the enemy, with predictable results

I don't hate the other LIs. I do however disapprove of what the writers did to Kaiden, Ashley and Liarra.
In all honesty, both Jack and Miranda's romance arc were a he'll lot better then any of the ME1's LIs arc in comparison. Heck even Jacob's was better. The only reason why the other LIs look pale in comparison to Tali is because Tali had some really awesome scenes, lines and an actual relationship going with Shepard that her romance arc just make others with the excepton of Jack's seem more like a one night thing than an actual romance that you'll expect to see carrying over into ME3.
That's the bottom line for me. The commitment involved in Tali's romance really do give you the impression that her's will carry over beyond that one night while the others very less so.
So lets not hate the oter LIs. Rather hope that in ME3, Bioware make a better effort and give us more deeper, more involved and better writen romances for ALL the LIs. It is a win win thing for us.

mah Ash and Kaiden romances where not that bad, expecially for Ash you know her quite well, with her "soft spots" and her limits (that is good imo)... Liara was a bith meh... i liked the char but the romance is waaaaaay to rushed

i agree about Tali, but i think she results a "better romance" because we alredy know her story, so there where more space to focus on romance (and still she have lot of lines) while Miri and Jack have also to let you know their story and basically the char

i hope that for me3 there will be not a new party, get back liara and kaidan/ash and expand all the party we had in me2

Shepard's charisma is more powerful than Reaper indoctrination. We saw that with Saren.

It's one of the reasons Normandy = mini-Reaper.

It's sentient, the AI was built with some Reaper tech, it's got a Reaper based weapon, and Shep's charisma is its version of indoctrination.

I'm having a hard time imagining that she really is "better than this."  She's a journalist, after all.

Journalist don't have feelings.

I resent that. My brother and his fiance are journalists.

Sorry.  I almost became one and I think it's true.  J-school does a pretty good job of stripping out human decency.

Go find one of those adjusted coalesced.ini files.  

It assigns the NumPad 2 to be a "flycam," meaning the camera can go anywhere.

I'm pretty sure the game mentions EDI has some Reaper algorithms or whatever built into her. Basically, some of the stuff they learned from Sovereign's remains did go into her construction.

Talk to EDI.  Her cyberwarfare suite is built using Reaper tech salvaged from Sovereign.

ahhhh Tali was probably the strongest char in me1 (only Wrex imo was close) and you never used her?
