And ironically, in his first entry, he goes "...and a quarian!" (as if a quarian is what made him most uneasy)

Tali even talks fondly of him in ME2; it's like they became good friends.

I thought that journal was Ashley's. That really is touching..and Tali's "I miss the old crew, Pressly, Engineer Adams"...people that showed indifference and learned to put that aside.

I hope you gave those outcast traitors what they deserved.

Perhaps trying to shoot the man decked out in T-51b Power Armor and armed with a new Gauss Rifle was a bad plan. 

They had no idea who they were messing with.
IMO the best part about that DLC is that awesome armor, it's condition never degrades no matter how much action it sees.
