Alright, gentlemen, Tali levels are critical.
Any topics on anybody's mind?
Yeah.
Pick a new three-tone colour scheme for Tali's suit. I'm gonna go with red, white and green.

I bet that Tali hates the collectors more so then most squad mates, they seem to like quarians a lot in their deals.Lividity Jones wrote...

Tali: Really? I need to see this right away *starts typing into omni-tool*

That's quite true. I do feel some sympathy simply for the fact that they are a slave race, but a lot of sympathy is easier to give when you can put a face to the sorrow. With the Collectors, they have none. And they are shooting at me. I kind of wondered what the significance of the Collectors being descendants of the Protheans were. They could just have easily just had them be some race that the Reapers enslaved.Nivenus wrote...
I have no strong opinion on the matter. There's no way to tell for sure how subsumed the Collectors were in ME2. They could have been practically husks, as Mordin believes. They could have been trapped in a state of "I have no mouth and I must scream," which should evoke sympathy from anyone. It's hard to tell. There's no clear answer.
It's genuinely better than what everyone else is discussing. My statement was merely a moral one.
But I think we're derailing, even if this is an interesting discussion.

I'm going to tip my hat and stay out of this one. Already fought with the Ashley thread on this with Somebody on my side.Nivenus wrote...
I have a topic, though it will doubtless be a controversial one.
The most interesting characters are those who are flawed, who aren't perfect. With that in mind, what is there about Tali that you don't like, and why? And no, you don't get to say her feet or that you didn't get to see her face. Or that she wasn't romanceable in ME1. A serious answer.
Since I raised the question, I'll go first. Neither I, nor the Shepard I used to romance Tali, can agree with her opinions on artificial intelligence. I understand them, I sympathize with them, but I don't agree and don't think I ever will. From my standpoint the fault of the Morning War / whatever the quarians call it (I'm spacing it for now, assuming there is a name) falls almost entirely on the quarians. Yes, the geth ended up turning genocidal and what not and I'm not saying it was justified. I'm just saying that, from my viewpoint, the quarians struck first and without provocation. And I've felt this way since before ME2 and the revelation of Legion.
Likewise, I feel that Rael's experiments were completely unjustified.
Which makes me really glad that I was able to paragon my way out of the Legion/Tali fight. If I'd been honest (and I'm not sure I would have been) I would have sided with Legion.

I really can't think of anything in particular I don't like about Tali. She has flaws, but her flaws don't negatively appeal to me.
For example, her initial nervousness in regards to a relationship with Shepard would technically be a 'flaw', but I like it.
