Yeah.
Pick a new three-tone colour scheme for Tali's suit. I'm gonna go with red, white and green.

I have a topic, though it will doubtless be a controversial one.
The most interesting characters are those who are flawed, who aren't perfect.
Things I don't like...hmm...Nothing in particular strikes me. I think she was a bit touchy when you spoke to her about reclaiming the homeworld in her loyalty mission. When you put it in perspective though, it's justifiably a touchy issue. With that in mind, what is there about Tali that you don't like, and why? And no, you don't get to say her feet or that you didn't get to see her face. Or that she wasn't romanceable in ME1. A serious answer.
I'm fairly certain that Artificial Intelligence was illegal during that time. Unless they wanted to be sanctioned against by the Council, it would make sense that they wanted to shut the Geth down and assess the situation. Essentially, they were shutting down faulty hardware. There was no malice on their part. I don't think you can say the Quarians were at fault. At most, it was their government. But I don't see the Quarians as the evil ones nor do I see the Geth as the evil ones. From my standpoint the fault of the Morning War / whatever the quarians call it (I'm spacing it for now, assuming there is a name) falls almost entirely on the quarians. Yes, the geth ended up turning genocidal and what not and I'm not saying it was justified. I'm just saying that, from my viewpoint, the quarians struck first and without provocation. And I've felt this way since before ME2 and the revelation of Legion.
I don't begrudge Tali for her opinion of AI. For all the Quarians know (aside from Tali when you recruit Legion and do his loyalty mission) the Geth are bloodthirsty and hate all organics. That's all they've ever known since the morning war. It's not comparable to racism - because we know there are individuals within human races and alien races. Within the Geth, there is little to no individuality compared to aliens. As it's fairly clear that the Geth universally tried to slaughter the Quarians in the war, I am not surprised most Quarians view the Geth with animosity. For all they know, the Geth were programmed to be violent.
Being honest myself, I would have to side with Tali. I know Legion is basically a child, but it's not right for him to intrude and hack her personal property. The least he could have done is ask - and he clearly did not.Which makes me really glad that I was able to paragon my way out of the Legion/Tali fight. If I'd been honest (and I'm not sure I would have been) I would have sided with Legion.

I really can't think of anything in particular I don't like about Tali. She has flaws, but her flaws don't negatively appeal to me.
For example, her initial nervousness in regards to a relationship with Shepard would technically be a 'flaw', but I like it.
Agreed. Was going to mention how her selfless nature seems to force her to think little of her own achievements and merits, but saw this as humility. Not a flaw.

Agreed on the voice problems. I fought my way through one male playthrough to romance Tali, and haven't played another since.Goodwood wrote...
Full disclosure: the only reason why I haven't Talimanced is due to DudeShep's Force-awful voice acting.

Jennifer Hale is unbearibly monotonous as Shepard. Moreso than Meer, IMO.

Oh, I didn't mean to imply that the quarians, a race were evil. But I do feel that, insofar as either can be considered to have the moral high ground (and as you say, the geth are hardly innocent), the geth would have it. But I also feel that what the geth did to the quarians was a crime, so I'm not trying to say that I feel as though the quarians should have been driven into exile or to near extinction. I'm simply saying that I don't accept Tali's (or quarians at large's) rationalization.

Point. I'd kind of forgotten about that and assumed it was from the ship's files, rather than Tali's personal files, but I believe that you actually are right. Even so, while I can't condone his hacking through her files and I may have still sided with Tali to prevent a war that would likely resulted in the deaths of many quarians, my sympathies were largely with Legion and the geth at that moment.

Shepard: Uh... well.... Alright, look man, don't question my methods. All that matters is that I get the job done. Maybe walking around naked helps me formulate strategies better. Ever thought of that? Maybe not wearing any clothes helps me relieve stress. The important thing is that I get the job done; don't worry how I do it.
TIM: Well, I suppose I shouldn't doubt your---
*Tali suddenly sneezes*
TIM: What was that?
*Shepard face-palms*
TIM: Hm... I see. I'll call you back in ten minutes.

I thought Meer did a fantastic job in Tali's romance. Phenomenal. The only outlier was his line before the suicide mission with Tali...that was badly written and badly voiced. Other than that, it was great and felt genuine.
could not have said it better myself
