She does comment once on the collector base, that is true.
I didn't really feel that the fact that Tali, or any squadmate for that matter, just repeats their lines all that bad. I mean once I've finished the game, it's either do another playthrough or wait for more DLC.
It might've been nice if the dialogue changed between Shepard and Tali post suicide mission changed, but I didn't really think it was that bad.

I think they do cut a bit of dialogue off at the end, the bit about her wanting to feel his skin.

I don't think that's enough. And besides, she has never told me that, because I always choose her for a romance, so she just says that she has a fever, a cough and filled sinuses. And that's it.

There's pretty many side missions i can get for scanning planets, but no squad mates seems to care about it.

No "I'm glad we could save that colony from those missiles" or "Wow, that was a close one." when Shepard is on a wrecked ship that's about to fall into a ravine. Nothing.

I was snooping around the internet and I came across something that struck me as interesting...

A patent application for a food product with stabilized non-protein amino acids:

Now biology ain't exactly my field of expertise, but it seems to me that food stuffs made from stabilized non-protein could be potentially edible to both humans and quarians.  Probably not very nourishing for either species (likely to just pass through the body) but ya could wrangle it into a "pasta-based composition" and re-enact that one scene from Lady and the Tramp, if yer so inclined.


So, whaddya think?  Could foods made from this, with a bit of tweaking, be something that Tali could sit down to and share with a certain special someone?

I'm afraid not. "wrong" amino acids are still wrong even if they haven't been combined to a protein yet.The body automatically break down protein to amino acids and peptides during digestion anyways (provided it can, mind you).
At best it would just pas right through with no ill effect, at worse it would be toxic/allergenic or cancerogenic.

Food that does not contain any amino-acids shouldn't cause trouble though, except it would have to be 100% sugar and/or lipids.

Hey guys. I need to confess something horrible.

After swearing profusely throughout my insanity+ run as a vanguard I wanted to enjoy the game again and started a new vanguard run on casual (more like "vangod"). I usually send Legion down the tube at the collector base, because you never know... but this time, of all times, I happened to pick Tali for the job.

Thanks to my maxed out vangod abilities I was tearing through collectors at incredible pace. So fast in fact that I.. I must've MISSED ONE OF THE VENTS!

So there I was at the last vent, punching the button like a madman, wondering why nothing happened. As Tali's pleas for help continued to grow more desperate, I started to realize something had gone wrong. After a few more seconds I knew there was nothing I could do anymore. The world around me went silent and everything ground to a halt as I watched the last seconds tick away on the timer...

And then... she was gone...







And then I reloaded and did things right.

It was a STUPID mistake. You ALWAYS check the vents...

Please don't hate me

You can NEVER let Tali die!

Personally I would have deleted the whole character and started fresh, but whatever works for you.
