obviously i am not allowed to feel emotions, thats what i hate about people that just think games are a way to 'waste' time, they aint all like Pac Man, some (like biowares games) can really touch you, in the same way that a book or a movie can, games can do it better though because you interact with the characters.SPARTANMST wrote...

I only share my feelings about games with groups of like-minded people (like this here). Otherwise, I'm limited to "that game was awesome" or "that game sucked" if I want to avoid ridicule.

Haha on the progress of the story-show she noticed Miranda and was like: "OMG she's gorgeous, why don't you take her?" So i showed her some convos with Miaranda and how b*tchy she is and, cause i've never done it for myself, we watched the Miranda-"love"-scene on youtube. After that she said: "If i ever catch you with a wallpaper of that b*tch, you're gonna sleep on the couch for the next weekend."

Thats just how my firends feel, but my sister understands
I don't really tell my firends about my Tali obsession but when one of them was bragging about how he killed Tali I nearly lost it. We now have playful arguements about Tali but it was tense for a moment there

thats what my argument is, they won't listen u have to play it really to know what its like, i mean this is one of the first games to actually make people feel true emotions other than anger, I'll let her stick to 'The Sims' cos thats an amazing game... (sacrasm)

Yeah, the only reason some people see it as a big deal is because to some, video games are still immature time wasters. They aren't yet on the level of movies or books for the general public. Even though the people with the knowledge to form an educated opinion know better.
I'm sure this will change in a few years, but for now, get used to people saying stuff like "how can you care about video game characters?"
