Even just focusing on Tali, its clear that she would want it to go that far.  While kissing would be huge for her, she doesn't want the relationship to be limited by her suit.  What your explaining is just a small victory.  Its important for Tali to be able to have sex with Shepard, not just touch him.

Haha good point. And she still joined you for the mission after all the bacteria she let in that night. She still goes through the vents and comes with me to kill the Reaper at the end.

I don't get it either but when I did the research I found to Steampunk to be rather enjoyable. It encompasses everything I like:

Machinery
Science
Style

I'm not a big fan of Steampunk but I can appreciate its asthetic apeal.
