Yeah, figured I'd play Chaos theory (played original) and double agent before I get conviction...

The first three games don't matter if your worried about missing out on the story. DA and conviction are the only ones with a continuous story.

But Chaos theory was only ten bucks.

The Geth went far beyond what they needed to defend themselves. 

Quarians tried to kill them all, the geth drove them out of there system, better then commiting Genocide.

No one is saying the quarians were the good guys then.  They're pointing out that the geth went too far.

The quarian reaction to the geth was wrong, but it was a knee-jerk reaction. Many quarians probably weren't involved at all in the first geth killings.

And the geth responded by slaughtering billions of quarians, by driving them from their planet. I do sympathize with the geth to some degree, but they committed the greater evil here.
