About the quarians and the geht, think about it this way.
What if it was earth and we were all afrift without a homeworld? We'd damn sure want earth back wouldn't we?

More war isn't the answer when a peaceful resolution can be made.

Yes but the geth have made no indication that a peaceful solution can be reached. They kill everyone who comes into the veil. For all the quarains know there is no other solution

Pretty much my thoughts on the matter.

I dam sure try to find a way for peace, not fly around and not even try to contact the peoiple who did it. I can understand that they are too scared to enter the vall, but it's better trying then declaring war and screwing everything up even worse.

Still Legion himself says that if the Quarians want to make peace, then the Geth will to, they don't want to make peace, only Korris does and thats why i don't feel sorry for them. If I was a Quarian I would have contacted the Geth and tried to do a meeting for peace, not plan for war, want to make new AI. Korris has the best point yet the Quarians want to go to war. If I can't force peace then I am helping the Geth, as much as I like Tali, I will help the Geth.

You're not going to find a lot of support for this view here, probably.

I know I am not, I like Tali but that does not mean I think she can be a moron now and then. Perfect example is the whole Legion and Tali argument. If the Quarians where doing that testing on humans, I would sure as hell tell the Alliance, Legion had all the right to do it, but instead of talking with Legion, she decides to point a gun at him.

Tali and the Quarians need to relise that both parties where wronged and peace needs to happen, not war. War will just make it worse.

Look at it from her perspective, please.  If Legion transmits the data to the geth, and the geth attack the Flotilla in response, how many of her people die?  And not just loony or warlike admirals.  Quarians who don't want war will die.  Children who haven't even left their bubbles yet will die.  What sane person wouldn't try to stop that?

Heretics did that and the Geth only attack if they are threaten. Legion makes that clear.

She could have talked to Legion, she could have given him that data that she gives if you clam them done, but no she had to overreact.

The quarians are so much like us...that kind of comparison is what makes things easier to understand.

Earthlings would also have given the order to shut down the geth that starts the Morning Wars. They're Admiralty Board reminds me of American politics. But let's not get into that.

I love the quarians, and the geth. Especially after Legion and his audio tapes "do we have...a soul". What if Tali had heard that? :crying:

I was under the impression that the paragon/renegade thing was just that some confrontations in ME2 were impossible to complete one way if you have too much of the other.  I think you'll be fine with Tali/Legion though.  That conversation is easier to solve with charm.  In that one, you can't use the intimidate option if you have a lot of paragon points.  At least that's my experience.

The Miranda/Jack one is the opposite.  You can't charm them down if you have too much renegade.  And its easier to solve with intimidate.

You need like MAX paragon to hit the blue option with Legion/Tali confrontation. I had it like just below the line before max and didn't get the option. I was pissed!

You know what, if I hit the renegade option in that confrontation, Tali and Legion are loyal, and they don't treat me any worse in ME3 than if I had been a nice guy (you know, NOT threatening Tali's life). Still can't do it :(

Wait, really?  In my last playthrough I was either below, or right at halfway full paragon and I got the charm option:huh:

I still say siding with Tali and reconciling with Legion is the better way to go if you can't charm it though.  He's technically only mad at you for like 3 seconds before you talk to him again and make it right.

Tali and the Quarians need to relise that both parties where wronged and peace needs to happen, not war. War will just make it worse.

Here is what they are both pushing at with the confrontation.

Legion
Legion suspects that the quarians are assembling for another attack, so he feels the need to warn his people about it. Legion recieved the data by scanning Tali's omni-tool without her permission.

Tali
Tali thinks that by warning the geth, Legion will have them retaliate, likely killing many quarians and causing further damage to the fleet.

To side with Legion, you are allowing the geth intel on the Flotilla, something that may compromise the fleet. To side with Tali, you are giving Legion- a geth collective, the assumption you favor the quarians and they will lose their trust in Shepard.

Both are wrong, they need to work together.

No one knows theres any difference between hereitcs and other geth. And they can't contact the other geth for the aforementioned reason.

And it's there fault. The Quarians should have contacted the Geth, not wander around and then declare war.

The geth kill anyone who enters the veil because they get attacked. They're probably not speaking up because if they came out to offer peace, they'd just be attacked.
