Call me wierd but i find Geth adorable up close and would most likey shoot the Quarian because I like there flashlight head.............................................

The Geth where created for slave labor, they where getting smarter and the Quarians decided to kill them all, this turned into a war and the Geths protected them self. Pushing them out of the system for there safety. The Geth then stayed in the system, not bugging anyone.

The Quarians tried to commit Genocide. They tried to destory there msitake instead of fixing it. It was there own dam fault.

I feel sad for the Geth, not the Quarians. They both need to find peace together or one side will lose and it will not be pretty.

So you don't feel anything for this race of humanoid creatures, who were driven from their home and slaughtered by the billions for their mistakes, and are now forced to wander the galaxy, looked down upon by most other races.
You would side with the geth, who took the only planet that the quarians can live on and now don't even use it, just kill everyone that comes near.

Holy crap, how many times must I say this.

Quarians don't want war, they want a homeworld. The ones in favor of war feel that it's the only way to get their homeworld back. In 300 years, the geth have never once let themselves be open to any kind of communication or negotiation. 

The whole issue isn't about hate, it's about lack of communication. 

99.9% of all Quarians will choose "Homeworld + Geth peace" over "Homeworld + Geth war"

I think this is true, for the most part. You have outliers like Xen, who clearly wants to re-enslave the geth as some kind of power play on the universe as a whole, but talking to the other admirals and Tali the most I got out of them was that they believed peace as impossible, rather than undesirable. I disagree with them, but they're merely mistaken in my eyes, rather than rabid warmongers.

That's a double standard. Shooting the geth because the quarian is humanoid is good but shooting the quarian because the geth is cute is bad? Frankly, I think neither is good but that doesn't stop people from arguing both points.

Yes, because they won't even share the same space. The geth don't use the planet, at all. They live on space stations. They get their resources from asteroids. 

Besides, I suspect the geth will move to another part of the galaxy to work on their megastructure. An asteroid rich system with no planets to attract organics would be the most ideal thing for them.

The geth doesn't have family. It doesn't have emotions. It doesn't have spawn. It doesn't even have individuality.

The geth are monsters for what they did to the quarians.

Exactly. They have emotions (or at least Legion does), but they can't FEEL anything. It's hard to explain. Like Legion says, they understand what pain is, but they can't feel it.

Do geth even bleed? They murdered a billion quarians, women and children, and you dare feel sympathy for the machine?

Yes they bleed and they defended them self, Geth did not cause the war, the Quarians caused the war. Innocnets die in war.

Innocents that the geth killed. They killed children. Ripped babies out of the womb. Do you not understand that?

The Geth are eternal. They have a shared consciousness. That indicates that they'd continue to do the terrible things they've done.

Several generations of Quarians have passed since the Quarians who made the mistake. They've been raised to hear nothing more than "Geth are evil, fear them." They are innocent in regards to the Morning War.

Quarians may have been terribly, terribly in the wrong at first, but the Geth haven't exactly fixed the problem.

A war that they casused. It is there own dam fault that there decendents have to live like this. The Geth are diffrent. The Geth never die and still remember the war. The Geth want peace, but if they must they will fight back.

Having AI is illegal. The citadel council would have set up sanctions against the quarians. The quarians decided to "shut down" the geth. Maybe to reprogram them. They were for manual labor afterall, right? How do you make friends with the illegal sentient machine AND lose the resources that you were supposed to get from the manual labor AND have sanctions against you becuase you have illegal AI?

They try to shut down the geth, the geth go "WAT NOOO" and go Terminator on them. Slaughter a billion Quarians (still not clear on actual number), drive them from their homeworld.

Quarians had no choice. I side with the Quarians to find peace with the geth.

Geth are now a people, the quarians and everyone else still believe they are just machines. Their lack of communication have not been helping matters either. The quarians deserve to live on a world again, the geth deserve equality.

First of all, geth are hyper-advanced VI or at least they were designed that way. Second of all, the geth can reupload to a mobile platform, the quarian can't. The geth has no family, no emotions it doesn't dream or fear anything

Quarinas paid for there mistake. The decendents have to pay the price for that. What people seem to forget is that the Geth still remember the war. They want peace, but if the Quarians don't want it and declare war then the Geth will fight back and they will win again.

You got to be kidding me. The Geth do have emoitions......... did you even talk to Legion or EDI? Telling me that those two characters don't have feelings and emotions shows me you are a Geth hater.
