like the story, the characters seem flat--i.e. they don't have their in-game personalities or nuances-- also, isolated typos. Otherwise, good. I would like to see more

Alliance, they seem more likely to ally with Quarians. Quarians would refuse to join council from the look of it and Alliance just has a bunch of racists amongst the rank, but their minds change easily. The commanders of the Alliance are smart so they would know to join with the Quarians.

Alliance.  The council has been openly and purposely screwing the quarians for 300 years. 

Although loyalty to neither is probably preferable.  Shepard doesn't need to be loyalty to any organization.  He's above them all
