Yes, exactly.  I think it would be fun to not be the only one on the Normandy that is in some sort of a relationship.

Jacob cant date anyone in ME3 because he dies in all my playthroughs of ME2

Had a crazy several days (thank god I am off the next 2 days) with the volcanic ash thing, dealing with people stuck and unable to fly to Europe.

I'm tied on this sense I will always be with Tali and also that Tali/Garrus seem to have more of a brother-sister relationship. Even though, a lot of times those relationships turn into something more. It would make some sense if it took till ME3 for this to happen if you dont romance the either of them till then.

It was ages ago, in a small time site interview, and the interviewer asked them. They joked about it as possible.

It's not really implied in the least. Romance DLC seems unlikely.

No. Out of character for both of them. Garrus admits to only liking turians in his romance. Tali makes absolutely no romantic nods towards Garrus.
