Happy birthyear Shepard, 2154, 6 years after the Mu Relays were discovered. (I think)

We've come a long way

I want to hear Tali yell out engineering commands.

Like during some space battle or something. "Divert power from the fusion core to the ship's mass effect generators to increase kinetic barrier capacity!"

I don't know if that even makes sense, I'm just randomly thinking of something that sounds Star Treky

I don't think ships have fusion cores.

It's a nickname for the default shepard.

A lot of people don't like him. I don't know why, he's a cooler, better looking guy than any custom Shepard I've ever seen. :P

Normally when I customize a character I do it to make him look as ugly as possible, either make him look like micheal jackson or an ape... Whichever I feel I could manage to look at the longest...Image IPB

Our kinetic barriers are not designed for a impact with debris that large.

Well, good thing we upgraded.

Thanks, Tali!Image IPB

Maybe. I wasn't trying to correct you. That's why I said, "I think."

Though Jacob is missing, we are also missing Tali's new friend Legion.  So.... yes.

Speaking of that, I wonder if Tali or Shepard think it's funny that all of a sudden she's only five years younger than him.

I don't think ships have fusion cores.

Sure they do. Where would the power come from otherwise?

Incorrect.  That is a propulsion drive.  Drives require power.

On a car, does the power come from the wheels?  No, the powerplant is the engine.  Mass effect fields are generated by exposing Element Zero to electrical currents.  What generates that current?
That's why the energy industry in Mass Effect is Helium-3 and Deuterium: those are nuclear fusion fuels.

Maybe their mass effect core? You know, that big, round humming thing that Tali and Shepard always walks off to?

I photoshopped Jacob and Legion in there and Jake touched it up to make it as good as it can be. The artist failing to include Legion is saddening but I really don't care :P

Again... Mass Effect Drives work by exposing Element Zero to electrical current.  What generates that electrical current?

Also, that does not look anything like the mass effect core that was in the first Normandy.  I think the positioning of the fusion core and mass effect core got switched around or something; the bright glowey ports on it make me think the sphere thing is the fusion plant.

Read the codex entries.  Fusion power is the principal power source in Mass Effect.  Mass effect generators only are drive systems.  Can a car run without its engine?

The mass effect core needs power to generate a mass effect field. Power has to come from somewhere.

Yeah, yeah, the Normandy is running on SCIENCE, but let's talk about something that isn't explained in the codex.

They should put a mini thannax cannon on the shuttle. That would be badass.
