and then she will get sick cuz she took of her mask on rannoch

You see her caring if she gets a cold after becoming the first quarian to step foot on, and breathe the air on Rannoch in 300 years?  That would be an incredibly special moment, right up there with the pounce

I really do think they will pull a ME2 move if she pulls off her mask to breath the air on Rannoch. IMO, they would probably save it for the suprise after they go off somewhere alone while on Rannoch, which owuld be opened if she was your LI. BUT while doing this it shows Quarians behind her removing their suits and putting on cloths to make up for it for those who dont LI Tali.

Problem with that is that I don't think other quarians are going to be taking off their masks like that.  The air will still make them sick, and the only reason Tali would be taking her mask off is because its such a special moment.  Once groups of people start coming back, they can be more cautious.

Tali showing her face to Shepard was an LI specific move in ME2.  For ME3, I don't see any problem with all players seeing her.  I think Tali would like just fine to be able to live without a suit on Rannoch, which means everyone seeing her face anyway.  There's no reason to hide it from everyone anymore at that point.

She mentions she had never shown anybody her face before. She made it special for Shepard like she promised. I think they would keep it like that so it doesnt loose its "special" effect it has. It would almost seem to cheapen the first time someone sees her face if it isnt just you playing Shepard. I dont quite think I put that right, but hopefully youll understand what I mean.

A slight cold will not deter Tali from being with Shep after he helped the quarians reclaim their homeworld.  :?B)

then she will get even more sick...   ... :bandit:do you want her to die or something?

First contact is the most dangerous thing for her immune system.  Her immune system has already started adapting to Shepard.   With immuno boosters and other precautions, being with Shep afterwards is a lot less dangerous than that first exposure on Rannoch.

Tali is strong.  She'll fight through anything, and more for Shepard

I remember someone once typed a nice, big post explaining how they never really care that much for Tali in ME1. Didn't dislike her, she just never stood out for him.

Then in ME2, he was feeling kinda... sad, how no one really seemed to miss him or even care about his plight. Ashley just yelled at him, Liara was too obsessed with Shadow Broker, etc. Then he went on Haestrom, and heard Tali talking about Shepard, hearing her say "...I wish Shpeard were here", and for like the first time he finally felt like someone truly missed him, and it was at that point he fell in love with Tali.

Actually, I think a few people had similar experiences, but I specifically remember one post about it one night.

I know I did.

Well, to be frank, I was set on Tali before I played the game. That's because of a vid I saw on youtube pre-launch.

And it was totally worth it.Image IPBImage IPB

Replaying ME1 is a surreal experience after ME2. When Casey said "after ME3, you'll have to replay through ME1 and 2 and 3 all over again". That's why I'm a fanboi, no other games can give me this kind of replay value (amongst many many other things).

I've never met someone like you describe, in fact met nobody who is a fan of ME like me. Only talked to on the internet. That's a pretty realistic story though...makes me

Well I think the perspective from our point of view is thrown off because of the disconnect between us and Shepard.  If we had seen her face like Shepard did in ME2, then I don't think anyone would have a problem with everyone seeing it in ME3.  I'm just kind of looking at it from the perspective that we/Shepard have already seen it.

It will be special for us as the player because we haven't seen it yet, but for Tali and Shep, they've already had that special moment.  I think Tali will be just fine with moving into the suitless part of her life.

Rannoch could potentially be one of the more dangerous places for her. What she gets for most diseases is just an allergic reaction--the germs can't really affect her. She's technically "immune" to Shepard's germs.

But on Rannoch, there's stuff that specifically designed to interact with her physiology. Then again, with no quarians living there for centuries, I guess any quarian diseases would be long extinct. There's still a chance some of the wildlife may have diseases that could affect quarians though.

What if the air is not breathable to begin with?

There might still be pollution after the war.

Sure, thats the logical speculation.  Good luck finding a more dramatic reveal though :P

That's what makes me think it will be there, and they will explain it however they feel like.

Perhaps, I see why you see it as such, but nobody except Shepard has seen her face and it was her first time. Tali being as she is I imagine she would still be somewhat why about it sense it is still considered one of the most sacred rituals the Quarians have being out of their suit with somebody has and all of that. This would make me think sense they have blown such a thing out of proportion that anything less than the one person you love actually seeing what you look like would cheapen the thing. Almost like becoming a ****, or having sex a lot in one day, a guy just cant take it.

That won't be an issue. I can't imagine the war being so bad it made the air unbreathable.

Besides, Legion specifically says that the geth have been cleaning up the mess left by the Morning War.

What's wrong with Shepard introducing his new sterilized home on Rannoch to Tali and she walks in and reveals her face at the very end of the game in an emotional hug :crying:

300 years is a long time for that to linger, assuming there wasn't any kind of nuclear fallout or something, and the geth are supposedly cleaning it anyway.

I put that as a tiny concern on top of the immune system thing.

I think it might've been a tactic used by the geth, since they don't need air.To pollute the air, and force the quarians offworld.
