Well, the council has plenty of reason to think you're insane or a rogue spectre, even if said reasons are wrong.

Of course, I fully expect the council to stand in our way in ME3.  I'm just hoping Shepard isn't a complete idiot, and can avoid getting detained, its definitely a believable scenario though.

Tell me what you all think of this...I wrote this partly to see if first-person would work for the fan-fic.

Yeah seriously. Working with cerberus, curing genophage, making geth friends, illegal AI, etc

Like any of these things alone are reason enough for them to put you on trial if they wanted to.

At least some good reason would be nice.

EDI: Shepard, during many of the ship's databases became corrupt. Your personnel file needs to be reconstructed. 

Then you pick manual reconstruction or automatic.

Tali is a part of Shepard's crew now. That's why her name is "vas Normandy"

I can't come up with any reason for her to leave.

She gets tired of fighting and worrying about if Shepard will come back alive from the next mission and decides that she needs to leave so that she can have a home and a family that is stabile and no longer needs to travel around fighting.....my opinion....*sniffle*

Bioware actually has good writers. If she doesn't return (and she will return) they won't give an explanation as half-assed as that. Besides, what if someone doesn't romance her? She has no reason to be worried so much, then.

Not half assed. This scenario is very possible and while its not as dramatic as other scenarios its still possible and someone doesnt have to romance her for her to get sick of moving around and eventually moving away. She may move away just so Shep will see she is serious and may decide to settle down in order to get her back, but either way its still possible.
