I don't know about anyone else, but I don't notice it when I typo Tali's name as Tail on the first glance.  And I always read tail as Tali the first time through. 

Must be part of the Talindoctrination:wub: process.

Oh, I'm not doubting his charisma, I'm just saying that the way his dialogue is written makes him sound inexperienced.

Yeah, I don't think he's been in many (if any) serious relationships. Doesn't seem like he had much chance pre-Alliance (regardless of origin), and in the military he's probably been a tad bit too busy, plus there are rules against fraternization and all that.

Well, its a different universe, maybe Shep is the picture of suaveness for them.  That asari seemed pretty into it

Shepard's ego will put up a confidence front no matter how bewildered he is. Isn't he pretty much cocky and/or genuinely concerned when talking to Miranda and Jack? With Tali he's more like...funny and concerned and he genuinely likes her.  After a few conversations with Tali...what if he's suddenly getting a little nervous, but he couldn't show that in front of Tali..then she would probably get nervous too and that isn't good for starting a relationship.

Especially when: a) They say it will be questions similar to examples in the workbook, and it turns out not to be and
They tell you they made a mistake in *TWO* of the questions that involves having to rework both of them half an hour before the exam is over.<_<

I doubt Shep could hide it really.  Quarians are supposedly really good at picking up body language.

Not sure how Shep being nervous around her would hurt though.  I think it may make the whole process easier for her.
