Oh, I'm not doubting his charisma, I'm just saying that the way his dialogue is written makes him sound inexperienced.

"I'm gonna dance next to you, if you want to think I'm dancing with you, go ahead."

Oh god did I facepalm

Well, its a different universe, maybe Shep is the picture of suaveness for them.  That asari seemed pretty into it

That asari was not into it lol I think she said "I'd prefer just me and the music, thanks".

And Morinth's conversation was bloody hilarious. Talk about overdoing the suave

Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever done the renegade dance

I've done the paragon one and she likes that one, I assumed they were the same.

I actually have to wonder how experienced Shepard really is when it comes to love.  He seems like he's barely even had a girlfriend with the way he acts around some women.

The women love Shep, Tali just has a way of making anyone melt

Shepard's ego will put up a confidence front no matter how bewildered he is. Isn't he pretty much cocky and/or genuinely concerned when talking to Miranda and Jack? With Tali he's more like...funny and concerned and he genuinely likes her.  After a few conversations with Tali...what if he's suddenly getting a little nervous, but he couldn't show that in front of Tali..then she would probably get nervous too and that isn't good for starting a relationship.

I doubt Shep could hide it really.  Quarians are supposedly really good at picking up body language.

Not sure how Shep being nervous around her would hurt though.  I think it may make the whole process easier for her.

Tali's already nervous. It's her first time and it's with an alien. If Shepard were also nervous, it wouldn't help the situation, it would only make her more worried that there was something wrong.

With Shepard, nothing is wrong, you are safe.

In ME3 Shepard needs to come out with his true feelings though. And I can think of 3 words that could do just that

I agree that Shep not being nervous is better for the sex scene, I thought you were referring to starting the romance.  In that case, I think it would have helped her express her feelings easier.  Aside from that though, Shep being her anchor is preferable

And we better hear those words.  You hear me Bioware?

Especially when: a) They say it will be questions similar to examples in the workbook, and it turns out not to be and
B) They tell you they made a mistake in *TWO* of the questions that involves having to rework both of them half an hour before the exam is over.<_<

Well, maybe this CSI pun will make you feel a little better ^_^

I would LOVE if Bioware took a risk and made Shepard say something along the lines of "I'm not fighting for the galaxy, I'm fighting for you.  Tali, after everything that I've gone through, everything you and I have experienced together...you're the only constant in my life that makes this place worth saving.  I owe everything to you.  Tali...I love you."

Did someone say Calc?! Da-tada!

Yes, indeed I did.

"Are you saying you could die if we were together?"

I think that's the moment I felt Shepard had strong feelings for her. I know he said "I want this too" or w/e before that, but the tone in which he said that line struck home for me. He sounded a little bewildered and genuinely concerned for her safety :crying::wub:

The charm option you do a bad, but slightly better than the renegade dance, and say something like "I'm going to dance beside you, if you want to think we're dancing together, that's fine."  And she responds with "I DO want to think that..."

Facepalms ensue :pinched:

SHUT UP IT IS NOT TOO LONG OMG!! Shepard said like 3 words in the love scene, he needs to start babbling like an idiot in ME3 because after Tali's pounce he is a new man I tell you,  A NEW MAN!!

That would take all of ten seconds to say.  Saying "I love you" to someone for the first time...it needs to be something special.  In movies/games, that's usually done with a beautiful speech B)

Ok i c your logic thar.

If anything Bioware should take up and read up on some ME/ME2 fanfics. Some folks have made some pretty impressive speeches for their characters.
