Spaceborn will probably have the best.  "Meet The Parents", anyone? 

The details were that he had a lonely and difficult childhood, supplemented by gangs. It never said how Shepard felt about it. Maybe he wanted to be a thug who hurt people, or maybe he was empty, not having a family, and joined the gangs. Many people join gangs for just that reason. Wether the dialogues are cute or not is irrelevent, I'd just like them to be there...

As for Space Born, problem with that is that Shepard's face is not static, meaning that showing either of Shepard's parent's faces would be difficult at best.
