Heh, All I know is that with my earth born Shepard learned to keep people at a distance early in his life and that Tali is the first person that he really allowed himself to grow close to.

Probably because that closeness was also something new to her.

That's the nice thing about the vague backgrounds, everyone can come up with their own reasons for why their Shep is the person that s/he is and why they fall in love with whatever character they choose.

While I might see someone forgiving a person that they already loved of horrible acts because, after all, they've already forged that bond, it's more difficult for me to see anyone initially forming what I would call a romantic bond with that kind of person if those acts had already been committed and their partner already knew going in.

Well that's just it, if you know about those things before hand, then you don't have to do anything. But if you do know about them, and you can STILL find something of worth in that person, something worth saving, something so precious and so beautiful that is somehow outweighs all the tragedy and murder in that person's heart, and if you can still bring yourself to try to salvage what you can of that, then I'd still call it romantic.

To each their own of course.

I think so, yeah.

You know, I initially thought all those lines that run horizontally on the inside were some kind of texture of the glass, but it really seems like they're scan lines. It looks like her mask is capable of displaying video feed.

Hey, I should do that. I wrote something earlier today about Tali getting ahold of an energy drink, but I forgot the majority of what I wrote. Fail on my part for not saving it on notepad or something.
