I just think quarian eyes operate on a fundamentaly differnet system, I refuse to belive that her glowing eyes is the result of a reflection because they always glow constantly and are always bright at the center of her eye.

If it was a reflection from her mask her eyes would always seem to be looking the same way, and we would probably be able to see the video feed on the outside if they give off that much light.

I think it's a graphical limitation though.

Hell, I think the only reason they gave her glowing eyes in the first place was so that players could have some kind of representation of eyes to look at when talking to her.

Having eyes to look at helps form emotional connections.

The second I read the last narration coming from the TV, I knew exactly what Shepard was watching!  Pretty neat story, giving Shepard an interest in quarians early on.

But when Shepard takes off Tali's mask you can clearly see blinking lights, if her eyes did reflect the light her eyes would be blinking.



I think her eyes actually pick up a different wavelength then our eyes do, and the glowing is a byproduct of their detection methods.
