Yeah, given Ascension talks about quarian ears as only an approximate analogy to human ones, I definitely do not think that's the direction BioWare intends to go with them. An elf ear is not "what counts for elven ears." It's a human ear that's longer and pointier.

First thing I came up with.

It's been done before, and the asari already fill the role of space-elves. I want the quarians to be something new.

Asari really are space-elves when you think about it.

But I do agree on the quarians. Something special is called for.

I don't particular care about the eye glowing. I do want Quarians to look unique rather than just be another Asari race. The Asari have their place as near-human, Quarians should be different. Fear not, Tali has lips on her face for kissing.

At just the right angle, there appear to be eyebrows.  There's a pic out there that demonstrates this pretty well...

Part of that is also loving her face, however it may look like. I really want the reveal in ME3.

And yeah artwork on the internet isn't something you can really control, especially on DA which I'm pretty sure says in the ToS you authorise the use and modification of your images(Though it's been a while since I've read it).

It'd make sense for quarians to have some kind of hair too. Hair would be one of the best way to spread pollen on their homeworld with no insects.

Yes, this is what I meant. Quarians seem to have ears like the Asari/Turians/Krogans/etc - as in not visible. Just don't really want Quarians to be recolored humans (sans ears). Doesn't have to be anything too strange, some facial markings will do if creative enough. Though I would want more.

I could see quarians with hair, though it's a little bit difficult (it's just not quite how I imagine them - but then I have no clear image). Thing is, even if they did have hair, I am absolutely certain Tali's would be very short or completely shaven. Wearing that helmet 24/7 and having a full head of hair would be unnecessarily uncomfortable... not  to mention unhygenic if quarians have anything approximating to sweat.
