Not saying she's furry--you'd be able to tell through her mask. But it would make sense for her to have some hair, specifically where it makes most sense for a humanoid body, on her head.

Meh, whatever, people are going to post my artwork here one way or another. I've learned to deal with it.
I have no idea, I just like make fun of his crush on her
And yeah artwork on the internet isn't something you can really control, especially on DA which I'm pretty sure says in the ToS you authorise the use and modification of your images(Though it's been a while since I've read it).
Body markings would be interesting. Didn't we already have this discussion a few days ago?Collider wrote...
Yes, this is what I meant. Quarians seem to have ears like the Asari/Turians/Krogans/etc - as in not visible. Just don't really want Quarians to be recolored humans (sans ears). Doesn't have to be anything too strange, some facial markings will do if creative enough. Though I would want more.
Hair is also a big threat to clean-room conditions.Nivenus wrote...

Yeah seriously, the galaxy sure is lacking in stylish hairdos.
It'd make sense for quarians to have some kind of hair though. Hair would be one of the best way to spread pollen on their homeworld with no insects.
I could see quarians with hair, though it's a little bit difficult (it's just not quite how I imagine them - but then I have no clear image). Thing is, even if they did have hair, I am absolutely certain Tali's would be very short or completely shaven. Wearing that helmet 24/7 and having a full head of hair would be unnecessarily uncomfortable... not to mention unhygenic if quarians have anything approximating to sweat.

Considering how weak the Quarian immune system is, it's unlikely that bacteria would have the chance to survive long enough to be a problem, without the suit being damaged. That said, I don't really care whether or not she has hair. I did read that Quarians evolved from mammals with hair, though. Not sure if that is correct information.Nivenus wrote...

If I wanted, I could make it so people couldn't download my art, but I like letting people do so in case they wan't to use it as a background, and I refuse to punish those people for the morons who post my art withought giving credit.
As I've said, I've made peace with it, just irritates me that when I DO ask someone to remove it they ignore me.

I don't remember partaking in that discussion recently. It would be interesting if the facial markings of the Quarian face could be likened to art - each face being unique. Not needed, but would differentiate Quarians more from Asari/Humans.Azint wrote...

Also, there's no reason to assume that (if quarians have hair) that it would grow at the same speed as a human's.
Not a great argument, but just saying.

What kind of body markings are we talking? Turian-esque face paint? Or something a bit different, like ritual scarring?
Or maybe I'm misinterpreting this and you meant natural body markings.
Wouldn't be a lot of point to that, though, if they don't show their faces to anyone.Collider wrote...

I don't really see hair being particularly uncomfortable with a helmet.
Longer hair would even help reduce sweating, since it acts as insulation. Whenever I cut my hair short, and put my head against a pillow or something, it heats up super fast.

I'm bad about posting in this thread without giving credit... But I'm usually respectful if an artist blatantly says they don't want it to be posted without permission.

I should have been more clear. I meant natural facial markings, from biology it self. I think it would be quite beautiful conceptually speaking that each Quarian has unique patterns on their face. This has special significance - Tali is the only one she loves enough to show her face to. He's the only one who will see her face, unique as it is.NuclearBuddha wrote...
