I'm still not very comfortable with the idea of quarians having hair. It just doesn't seem right to me.

This is one of the reason why I'm actually against seeing Tali's face. There are so many different ideas of beauty and I think one of the reasons Tali is so popular is because everyone can put their own image of how she looks into their heads.
If BioWare showed her face, it's going to upset a lot of people no matter what they do. It's kinda a lose/lose situation no matter what.
At the same time, I feel like in ME2 they 'built up' the idea that you're going to see Tali far too much so, when the love scene happens, you feel disappointed.
"Naw, bro", indeed.

I might be slightly disappointed if they go with the "recolored human" route but I'd hardly say I'd be upset. A face is a face, after all.

It would be a lot simpler if everyone would agree that Tali's a space elf. :)

As things go, there are worse one could be.

No, but they do have that whole head fringe thing going on. I imagine that can provide some insulation.

Speaking of asari, I would love to hear an evolutionary justification for head tentacles.  Other than making it uncomfortable to sleep on your back.

The asari called. They said that the space elf trope is already taken.

On the subject of hair, Tali appears to have eyebrows if you look closely at her face mask, and Tali's concept art has her with eyebrows, as well as grey skin. Though that may be just because it's concept.

See, that's what I think. And if those are eyebrows, then why would there not be hair?
It's like a 'where there's smoke, there's fire' kinda thing, I feel.

Because somebody who shaves / cuts their hair short doesn't necessarily shave their eyebrows?

That's terrible really. Trying to imagine how she looks like had nothing to do with why I liked her and chose her a romance partner, at all. If Tali did not have her mask I'd still like her, I don't like her anymore that she does.

If BioWare showed her face, it's going to upset a lot of people no matter what they do. It's kinda a lose/lose situation no matter what.

Who gives a **** about them? They're being shallow. And I would think that most Tali fans would want to see her face regardless. If that means they are disappointed because she isn't space elf tali, they can ****ing deal with it.

At the same time, I feel like in ME2 they 'built up' the idea that you're going to see Tali far too much so, when the love scene happens, you feel disappointed.
"Naw, bro", indeed.

I wasn't disappointed. If anything, it makes more excited to see it in ME3.

I have no ideal look, I just don't think hair would cut it. And most people do want to see her face, I do too.

Humans still have their appendix, despite them apparently being largely useless. I'd wager that its just some relic of asari ancestors or just arose from being coupled with other traits that helped Asari survive.

I thought they had leathery skin like an elephant.

Humans and batarians are the only races confirmed to have hair, quarians still need a reveal.
